Are you required to remove your low profile cover before installation? Or can you install with it flipped up and out of the way?

whats the size of the nuts on the bed rail and the one on the carriage bolt?

With this setup will Undercover factory installed trifold tonneau covers be able to flip up all the way including the tri-fold section closest to the back rack? Or will the tonneau cover only be able to flip the first two tri-fold

What’s the torque spec?

The base plate for this bracket system #40126 over laps and encroaches onto my Bak Revolver X4s Tonneau covers inside rail. I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado. Can I just skip using it and just bolt down the adapter bracket without it. That would fit. If not than it looks like I will be grinding 1/2" off the inside edge of the rail brackets. What say Ye? Backrack USA tech said it would fit and the instructions are no frills for sure.

Hey there! The kit that BackRack uses for the BakFlip covers will hang off the side of the bed cap 1/2 inch. The only way to avoid that is to remove 1/2 inch from the inside edge, just like you mentioned. We have done that before, but we also cleaned up the cut edge and sealed it with a good paint.
