The more advanced these get : the more I appreciate the simplicity of a keyboard and a mouse

Navigation is too clumsy and even looks it on this video. I have a Loupedeck CT to test and I am struggling to get far enough up the learning curve for a mouse and keyboard to become anything close to second best.

for audio editing i think theres 2 things you really need: a jog wheel and 8 encoders. thats it. if you do actual mixing maybe you want motorized faders or whatever but just for production those 2 things are actually useful. rest just use keyboard shortcuts.

Most pro´s i have seen that are 100% in the box only, all use a simple mouse and typing keyboard, and a midi keyboard and probably a cheap one with just keys mod and pitchwheels. That´s it. Not saying this is a bad product to the contrary i think it´s great, but you will need time to train that muscle memory, to the point you don´t have to think anymore about what you´re doing, but just do it. Same as with a maschine or mpc rly.

In all the videos I have watched on the Loupedeck CT this one shows a musical artist using the this device in workflow and never touching the keyboard fantastic. You actually feel that The artist is more creative and spontaneous in his designs of the track he’s trying to create. WOW!!!🖖🏾✌🏾👌🏾

All the integrations come with the consoles without any extra charge. The Ableton Live integration is available for Loupedeck CT and Live. The profile you see on the video is the default profile, which you can then customize to fit your workflow.

When I select 'Browser Mode' I only have [Browser] on the wheel. None of the other options to scroll through (Instruments, Max For Live etc.) Can you tell me why and how I can get this? I'm finding no help through the website

I'm finding this controller not very useful in Cubase 12. I like that there's a pack of key commands already mapped to the buttons, but when using the knobs to send midi, it does not work. My usage goes beyond what is offered in the Cubase pack. Also, you should make a way to make a key or a knob be global. I want to assign a certain command to a knob and have that not change in any screen. The only way to to that now is if I recreate the same action to all screens. But that doesn't matter as the knobs don't send midi anyway.

The Loupedeck software is currently available only in English. With some applications, certain actions are retrieved directly from the application and thus appear in the language you are using the application in.

Hey! We’re not planning on adding a native integration for Reaper in the near future. However, you can use Reaper with Loupedeck CT & Live by creating a custom profile using keyboard shortcut commands.

This video didn't convince me at all. Guys.. im not saying there isn't a great use for this, but this video didn't sell me on this. i suggest a VERY DIFFERENT video explaining fast and simple ease of life shortcuts, showing us specific things you could do BETTER on this device, than on a keyboard. After more than 10 years working in Ableton, Lightroom and Photoshop, i know my shortcuts. I just want to work faster. Learning a new way of doing things doesn't seem faster. I feel like any other youtuber could do a better job at selling me this. Also do this with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, but put more effort into it. ALSO the software doesn't look that great, it needs more work, and that "touchscreen" is like an ancient remnant from 2010, unacceptable, my KaossPad from back in the day had a more responsive "screen". I really want one of your decks, i really do, i make a lot of music, a lot of photo editing, but i'm still not convinced. ----> im mostly talking about the weak presentation

The more videos I see of people using this and the Stream Deck for creative tasks the more it seems like a gimmick and a complete waist of time and money. It even suffers from screen burn in. But if you're running a nuclear power station... For music creation, it should be about the music. Keyboard short cuts seem to make more sense.
