    I am a professional video editor, I work with it 8 hours a day during the whole week. I have been searching for a controller or console for my workflow and it has been hard to find something nice. I see some possible issues with your product. First, there are too many dials. I want buttons, physical ones, and not the touch screen. Why? Because I want to keep my fingers over the buttons and press it when I feel into, in an intuitive way. I don't want to look at the keyboard to press it, as it would have to happen with the touch screen. The LOUPEDECK+ seems a better fit for me, but it has so many dials and labels that don't fit for video editing (i am not looking for color correction). Please, do a new one with half the size of the LOUPEDECK+, a maximum of 3 dials, several buttons with different sizes each, that I can customize as I want. Second, I love the look of the CT, but you are trying to sell it as a complete system, but I WILL use it with a mouse. I don't want to navigate my timeline with a dial. Third, these are the shortcuts/buttons that I use thousands of times in a day: Selection Tool, Razor Tool, Rolling Edit, Slip Tool, Add Edit, Enable, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Mark In, Mark Out, Undo, Redo, Save, Add Marker, Play-Stop Toggle, Shuttle Right, Shuttle Left, Audio Gain, Copy, Paste. Around 20 buttons are all I need, but you don't offer me this in any of your devices unless we consider the touch screen.

    Pretty cool! I would second that a lot of tasks would still be faster with a mouse and good keyboard shortcuts but it’s usage for color correcting would be great because it would feel much more intuitive than dragging sliders with a mouse. May have to look into this!

    At 8:19 can you use the CT to pull down the rubber banding BETWEEN the two keyframes without having to select each keyframe independently and do it twice? That is very inefficient. Nice to see the dial can reduce the volume on a clip though.

    I have the same question. Seeing as Loupedeck hasn't responded, I guess the answer is no, which makes it very inefficient as you say. Shame.

    At 00:12, "When you boot up Premiere Pro, the Home Screen will pop up on your Loupedeck CT and it consists of five Workspaces that are resembling the editing flow that you are familiar with...", however, I only see 3 Workspaces. Assembly and Effects are not present. I'm running 3.2.5. Is there an easy/quick way to add the other two and their associated buttons?

    Hello, the profile for Premiere Pro has been updated based on customer feedback. You are right that in our most recent software version, there are only 3 workspaces by default. However, you can create your own workspace and assign it to the home screen. Please contact our support at loupedeck.com/en/support for more details. Thank you

    Currently it is not possible to assign presets to Loupedeck’s buttons. You can, however, assign certain transitions to the buttons, such as Crossfade, Wipe and the set default transition.

    Question: Ist that an actual wheel that is turning, or it's touch sensitive only?

  • @Loupedeck

    @Loupedeck

    Hi there, both the main wheel and the dials do actually turn when rotating them. With the six dials you can feel each increment changing, whereas the main wheel offers a smooth continuous turning experience.

    Hi Shobhit, please make sure you are using the latest version of the Loupedeck software. In Premiere Pro, make sure that Loupedeck is added to the list in Edit > Preferences > Control Surface, and that you have selected at least one video or audio track for "Source patching for inserts and overwrites". If the issue persist, please contact our customer support here: support.loupedeck.com/

    Why doesnt this device control effects and keyframes for each effect?? Why is it only MOTION OPACITY AND CROP??

  • @Loupedeck

    @Loupedeck

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi! We don't have all the effects added as there is no direct API access to them in Premiere Pro. But we are planning to bring more functionality, including other effects, with future software updates. You can already now use the console to take you to the Effects panel, create and jump between keyframes, and control the values of different parameters.

    I don't think this guy really knows what he is doing. When he ripple trims his edit at 2:20 he's cutting his music track. Probably not what he wants to do and not a good example for those watching.
