Oh man, these new custom actions are AMAZING! On the Loupedeck (in FCPx) I set button 5 to mark the out point of a clip, set that clip as a favourite, set the clip to video only and then append (E) it to the timeline, and it all happens with ONE BUTTON PUSH!! Thank you Loupdeck (and Mark)!
This is a great demo and overview. Thank you for taking the time to learn how to work with the software. Your demo was far more clear and concise than others I've watched on the Loupedeck CT today.

Awesome. Thank you for your feedback.
Great Job. You an excellent communications skill. I have a CT and may use your tips. To be honest, I'm waiting on bluetooth and Luminar 4 support.
I quite literally ordered a Midi Fighter Twister a few days ago with plans to set things up with 3rd party software to convert the midi signals to keyboard commands... Now I saw this video. Sure. It's not direct API access for Resolve. But... It's one less potential problem factor if I can just set it to keyboard shortcuts. And I still can use it with Lightroom and Photoshop. And it has displays in the buttons to help me remember what I set it up to do. I even stumbled and contemplated the mini version of black magics 3 ball setup for twice the price of the CT. But I surmise I can get much more value out of hardware input that isn't proprietary. Needless to say. The developers decision won me over. The Midi Fighter Twister is cancelled and I put in the extra hundred or so dollars to get the Loupedeck. I'm writing this here so the makers of Loupedeck can see that at least for one customer. This video did what they hoped. It sold one unit. I just hope Blackmagic will loosen up with their API so we can utilize it fully in the future. Or maybe a third party developer might be able to poke around in the signals from the official triple ball setup?
This is great!
Works well with DaVinci Resolve. I am now a happy bunny!

Perhaps a stupid question, but can we just set the home screen to have an icon to launch Resolve? Or does the profile only activate when we manually launch Resolve?
And with that, Loupedeck seals the deal.
This is great, can we have a video like this specifically to the Loupedeck Live? I know they're similar, but it could help if we see the software UI that is specific to that device. It's been tedious so far 😅but I really look forward to getting my Loupedeck Live finally setup to my liking so I can incorporate it into more of my workflows
How is the jog/shuttle wheel in DR? Can you shuttle as well as jog at multiple speeds, is it responsive or is there a big lag while scrubbing at speed??
hey! great video! can i use the dial to scrub over a video that I'm playing on QuickTime or VLC? ...(I saw it doing it perfectly on resolve) thank you!
Would like more tutorials! Considering buying this but really would like to see a workflow with Capture One. Additionally, could set this up to record samples from spotify?

Hello Ash, We are currently working on several instructional videos for Loupedeck CT, we will post them as soon as they are completed. You can check the integration for Capture One by downloading our software (3.2.x from loupedeck.com/en/setup), there is a default profile for this app included. We also have an Extended profile for Capture One that you can check (loupedeck.com/en/profiles/capture-one-pro-profile). All custom actions and adjustments are based on keyboard shortcut commands in case of Spotify. If you are able to record samples with shortcut commands, you will be able to assign those to the CT. Please contact our support at loupedeck.com/en/support with any additional questions. Thank you
I cant seem to get loupe deck to work with fusion 360 ANY HELP!!!!!
Has anyone here figured out a creative way to scrub a bit faster with the main job wheel other than "move 1 frame forward"? Obviously there is "move 1 second forward" but that's drastic. I find using JKL hard to control. Any thoughts? I thought of maybe mapping a macro of (Shift --> + Shift-->) to step forward 2 frames at a time, but you can't map macros to the dials.
Where do I download th Firefox and Chorme profiels that used to the on the site? They are not in the marketpalce. Thanx
is there a capcut plugin?
Any idea how to get modifier keys to work in Blender on MacOS? It’s a really annoying problem, you can’t even map Save or Undo. Modifier keys work pretty much everywhere except for Blender/Mac.
Would this be able to work with Blackmagic Atem Mini macros like the StreamDeck?

In setting, save your profile first. Then you can export your profiles to your desktop to import on another computer of your choice.
Bruh if yall make a new version of the Loupdeck+ like a metal version that is wireless I will quickly give you all of my money :) Love you guys you've made my workflow so much faster. Also if there was a way to make the LD+ work with Adobe Bridge that would be sick! I use Bridge to cull my images

Hi there, thank you for your feedback, it has been forwarded to the team :) Loupedeck+ will eventually be moved to the new UI, which will make it possible to use it with any application by creating a custom profile. At this point, we can't give you a timeframe unfortunately.
It's like a really fancy Streamdeck by Elgato.

@@Loupedeck @Loupedeck can we trigger instruments or effects in Fl Studio with Loupedeck CT?
Hi there! I got a specific question about it. In Resolve Color page is it possible to: Map the 6 knobs at sides to Y Lift, Y Gamma, Y Gain, and the other 3 to R offset, G offset, B offset in alternative Map the knobs to Temp, Tint, Exposure or Contrast, Saturation, Midtone Detail In other words, is it possible to map the knobs on specific functions of the color page? If it is so, that would be a great improvement for Colorists that uses knobs a lot and much less the color wheels and it would be a huge deal, specifically if the main wheel could be used as transport and the other buttons mapped for new nodes and clip navigation. Thanks

Hi Filippo, unfortunately it is not possible to map the dials to the adjustments you mentioned. As we don't have access to Resolve's API, we are limited to a keyboard shortcut -based integration, which you can read more about here: support.loupedeck.com/custom-profiles-davinci-resolve. Please feel free to contact Blackmagic and request support for Loupedeck :)

Hey we have created a Custom Profile for DaVinci. loupedeck.com/en/profiles You can view this to see how we created ours. If you follow the instructions in this video, you can map DaVinci in a similar matter. We also have a rather comprehensive user-guide, which can be downloaded in the setup section. :)

whats up with the site? I cant get access to it. I'm getting a error message. All the components we use in Loupedeck products are high-quality and tested to ensure that they are durable, even with professional use. The cost of the components is only a portion of the total costs as, unlike a keyboard or mouse, we must develop, maintain, and update our software for every application integrated with our products. Loupedeck CT is most premium and most powerful of our consoles yet. In comparison to Live, the additional elements like the Wheel with a touch screen and square buttons can add significant value to the user, and they naturally increase the cost of the device.
Its completely pointless for Davinci Resolve if you cant use knobs? I mean if you allready own a Ripple or other Panel then you don't it for primaries, but what about the knobs, do the goddamn knobs work?
@Loupedeck

Hello, you can assign actions and adjustments to the knobs and use it in Davinci Resolve. It is important to note that you can only assign those actions and adjustments that have shortcut commands support. Please contact our Customer support for more details. Thank you very much

We don't have a native integration for every application, but you can control any application that has keyboard shortcut or mouse commands by mapping them to the console. Currently there is a limitation on API calls from Spotify that is causing unresponsiveness of certain actions in a user's Spotify Profile. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to assure you that together with Spotify we are working hard to find a solution.

every time when I see a hipster on tv I think about how cold it must be inside. Sitting there with cap and jacket tells me, that his home heating must be broken
@jmalmsten

I went to an AirBnB in Los Angeles a few years ago that had "central heating". I was there a couple of weeks over christmas so it was as cold as it would get outside at night (roughly 5-8 °C). I discovered that "central heating" meant you'd have one single gas burner in the middle of the apartment and heat was radiated from it over air in a line of sight manner to the rooms. So if doors are closed, no heat. Stand in the shadow of the heater so to speak... No heat. As I grew up and live in northern Sweden where it's standard to have radiators under every window in every room to get a comfy 21° everywhere indoors even as outside temperatures reaches -30°C or even -40 °C. I kind of found this Californian solution surprisingly quaint. But the lodging was nice, especially for the price, so I cannot complain :) I typed all of the above as an example from my own experience to say that... I would not be surprised if indoor jackets are necessary where this video is shot.
