I'm pretty sure John Ham doesn't follow Larry around acting exactly like him, and I'm pretty sure Ted Danson isn't a huge asshole in real life (at least I hope he isnt)

He did have few cool bits as a stand up. One great joke was his bit about Caesar getting killed and using the familiar "tu" instead of "usted" with Brutus.

Heard an LD say in an interview he was a great writer but bad stand up. He said in order to be a good stand up you can’t just have good jokes you have to be your best self in stage and never felt comfortable on stage.
