Classic example of someone who makes the most out of the smallest opportunity. He was only supposed to be on the show for a season but became a regular. So glad he did as the scenes with him and Larry are normally the funniest

Leon was easily the best addition to the Curb cast in the later seasons. Also JB's jacket here is dope.

Most people on the show are playing themselves just a warped version of themselves they would never do in public

I love how JB was like “I should be on that show” and then he got on the show like no problem

JB Smoove is so skilled at improv, so quick and smart, it's amazing he isn't even more famous than he is. Thank god for Curb giving him the exposure he deserves.

I've been watching Curb, since season 1, and I have to say, at this point Larry and Leon's relationship is my favorite part of the show. Leon always has Larry's back. He stole three baseball jackets, just because he thought they stole them from Larry.

Watching this it suddenly occurred to me that Leon is essentially the Kramer of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Pretty much though Kramer had your back he usually didn't get the results like Leon.

Best Leon bit is when he starts rattling off all Larry’s personal information causing Larry to drop F bombs. Leon the best.

Leon is the man. He steals every scene he’s in on that show.

Leon is probably my favorite character from the show, and that's saying a lot because nearly everyone is funny. Great improvisations by JB.

JB is giving a lecture on the inner workings of the mind of a genius.

Leon is a brilliantly written character, and I don't see anyone other than Smoove doing the character. Finally, people are seeing it.

I saw his stand up live in person and probably never laughed so hard in my life. He is insanely underrated.

Leon is one of the best characters. JB and Larry have a great chemistry. Most of my favorite episodes involve Leon.

Curb Your Enthusiasm was like a rocket that was ready to take off for outer space and JB Smoove was the G-Force energy that made the launch possible

I get excited when the episode is mostly Leon! He’s the best

Leon is easily the best recurring character in the show

I like the fact that Curbs supporting characters can be totally random like Funkhauser, the conversation gives you the idea before you even see them

God. I fucking love this Guy. When I first heard the spelling of this guys name before seeing him, I thought that's some bragadocious shit. Seeing him, he is very entitled to have Smoove as his name. He's fly as fuck

Holy crap man, idk what appearance of JB's it was but he told a story about in his younger days he sold fire extinguishers door to door. He would light fires in a controlled way and then put them out. After a long day of putting out fires he lit one more in a lady's house but the small sized demonstration only extinguisher had run out of juice so he just left this random lady with a fire burning in her house. He said he was going out to the car to get another one and just ran off down the street.

He’s such a perfect partner for Larry David.

Some of the scenes , the words out of Leon's ( mumbly voice ) are comedic history they are so funny . I don't know how to pick among them . What pops in my head right now is his playing a Black Jew and telling Kramer " a Mitzvah is every 13 years " .
