Our second pour for the Lotus Europa dual Weber intake manifold was a lot more successful than the one yesterday. Making the runner core pieces was still giving us some problems, but we got enough good ones made to do the pour. I'm thinking that the silica sand is not fine enough and that the percentage to sodium silicate to sand weight needed to be increased from 4% to 5%, and maybe a little more.
