I couldn't stop staring at the caliper and hub. Even the yellow e-brake spring! Way nicer that when it left the factory!

Thanks Paul, very informative, where did you get the banjo set up to replace the brake pipe?

Hi Kevin, I got the banjo and banjo bolt from Paul Matty Sports Cars. I remember I had to swap one of the banjo because the thread for the hose wasn't deep enough. They swapped it for me without any problems.

All that effort and the brake hoses are plain rubber! Why not use SS braided hoses to prevent potential brake failure?

With the type of use I don't expect to have a problem with the standard brake hoses. I'll also be inspect them regularly. I've never had a problem with standard brake hoses on any of the cars I've owned. Of course braided stainless hoses would be make sense to add a bit more security.

@@PaulH_S2_Elan - I had the regular brake hose fail in my EType (very scary and life threatening) and from then always invest a few pounds more in the SS braided ones. I did I enjoy the video as these banjo bolts need to be correctly wired!

Blimey, very scary. I've been very careful to make sure the brake hoses aren't rubbing on any other parts or bodywork, with the full suspension movement. I'd certainly recommend braided hoses if that couldn't be guaranteed.
