I must agree that Benjamin Linus is one of the best character i've ever seen on screen. He is soo well crafted and acting by Michael Emerson is just superb. I'm really glad he won an Emmy for that role.

Terry O'Quinn's performance is really amazing to watch. This season's Locke is so confident and self-assured compared to earlier on the island and especially compared to Locke's flashbacks.

I love that they just told him "You´re just like the old John Locke, only a lot more confident" and that´s all he had to work with for season 5! Fantastic actor!!

I don't know if it helps you but Lost is on HULU now. If you're not a subscriber I think you can do a 30-day free trial - plenty of time to watch that last episode. BUT I read that Hulu was carrying a shortened version of the series finale but that they were working on getting the longer version up soon. Not sure when that will happen.

Continuity error in this episode- if Ben stole Alex from Danielle then why didn't she recognize him as the kidnapper when she caught him in a trap in the first episode he was in season 2?

Alex M, because she went nuts. 16 years of paranoia, whispers, security system stuff, all by herself, made her extremelly unstable. She also didn't recognize Jin, as the asian appearing, disapearing dude...

Goog argument! I mean, who do YOU remember from 16 years ago?? My own aunt died from cancer in 2002 and I certainly can´t remember her face!....And I don´t think, the explanation from Richard with "he´ll forget that this happened" with the Temple was really all that necessary, but I understand, why they put that in!
