Ultimately although it was good to finally bury the hatchet on this whole thing so that Rhaenyra could finally go to war (despite how utterly ridiculous the implications of the scene are), it wouldn't have mattered if Alicent had listened to Viserys or not. ChadOtto was ready with the small council to put Aegon on the throne and I doubt Alicent would have been able to stop anything at all if she wished for Rhaenyra to take the throne. There was always going to be a war of succession because quite simply there were Houses who wouldn't accept Rhaenyra and she weakened her claim by giving birth to bastards adding more fuel to the fire. As amazing as Viserys was, dude really fucked up the state of the realm.

It's so stupid they made Alicent believe Viseris told her Aegon should be a king. It makes their claim stupid right from the beginning and makes whole show pro black. Hate to be that guy but there is not such thing in the book and for a good reason, there we are shown that both sides have their reasons to claim the throne, not some stupid words that destroys claim of one side

It's amazing how much more likeable Criston is when he's actually doing the thing he's good at, rather than projecting his own insecurities onto others and being face down in a queen. In all likelihood, he's probably the best, most experienced and capable person the Greens have to lead an army, which was eluded to in season 1 when Rhaenyra chose him for guard because of that exact reason. He's still a POS though. Lol.

It feels like things are closer together in this show because King's Landing, Driftmark and Dragonstone are all right next to each other, we don't really go anywhere else in the show like we did in Game of Thrones. Also a lot of travelling is does by dragonback which is obviously a hell of a lot faster than walking or by horse.

By the way jimmy something that everyone either missed or left out of the editing (or both as left out cuz they missed it) The servant girl in the tavern the one slapped in the ... It's Diana the servant that was sent away by Alicent in season one with silver and the moon tea. After Aegon ... She was also seen terrified while serving him but he didn't recognize her.

There will still be a good story or two throughout but plenty of bad characters imo introduce later that feels like they ran out of ideas. There is maybe 3 great episodes that will hit in right spot but sadly probably no more than that.

i think im actually realizing i didnt finish watching this show. i think streaming was only just becoming a major thing when michael was leaving, so you had to watch episodes live and i had fallen off of the office around the time sabre bought them. i dont remember this episode or anything about how they wrote him out. huh. how about that.

Honestly it’s pretty strange upon rewatch just how rushed Michael and Holly’s relationships ends up being. The fact that within 4 episodes from actually getting back together they get engaged. And then he exited the show right after. Bizarre. And most definitely the beginning of this show unfortunately becoming a shell of what it once was.

I really understand people not wanting to watch this movie a second time, but I really like to watch it. I‘m having several problems, for many years now, and I feel like I‘m alone with it, because if I try to share some of it, people usually don’t seem to be able to accept it or understand it or want it. This movie though kind of gives me empathy. Also as I haven’t been able to win my fights yet, the fact that this movie neither has a ray of hope nor a happy ending, kind of gives me empathy and some peace as well weirdly enough. All these happy endings and people saying be your best and be happy make me feel really bad at times, when I look at my life and me struggling. It’s like listening to breakup songs during a breakup I guess.

all ill say is that in 2011 we had a year's worth of rumors & warning as to the michael/colorado issue....idk, i feel sorry for the new fans with no warning, but usually theyve been binging the show for a month, or two, at the most....we had michael for 7 years & then......anyway, yeah, i was still pissed off, & frankly, i still am.

Still a while with some good episodes before the quality takes a dip, and then it improves again towards the very end (the last season). Just had a hard time for a while there after Michael left. Def some good moments and episodes worth watching for.

I will say there is a closeness with Jim and Dwight now that didn't exist in the earlier seasons which is probably why the pranks feel more palatable to you
