You really pay attention to the show in a way that I don't see from a lot of other reactors. I watched it when it was on TV and you're the first person I've watch react that really is as invested in theorizing and thinking about it as deeply as the people who were doing so online when it first aired. It's nice to see someone who's really thinking about it as it goes rather than just hitting play on the next episode and letting all the mystery be answered by the show immediately. You might not always be right but thats half of the fun! That's how everyone felt when it was on TV. Making big guesses and just being wrong and enjoy it lol

A Locke & Ben show? YES PLEASE!

Mike- you really are doing well. By now, you know how this played out, but you were asking many of the right questions. Why would the smoke monster let Ben live, and why would he ask him to do whatever John Locke says. LOST was so good at throwing stuff at us from every direction that we missed the giant kitchen sink hitting us in the face.

"Some Like it Hot", a 1959 movie starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. Not Sharon Tate. Hoth - Luke escaped the snow monster's cave and stumbled through the snow until he sees a vision of Obi-wan telling him that he has to go to Dagobah to learn from Yoda. Then he passes out. Han finds him unconcious. After Han hops off his tauntaun, the animal collapses and dies. Han grabs Luke's lightsaber and cuts open the tauntaun and stuffs Luke inside until he "can get the shelter built".

You're so damn good at this! You're better at following complex storylines and picking up on hints than any reactor I've seen. I really hope you rewatch lost after you're finished, there's so much that you would see so differently now. Plus, I'd 100% watch with you again if you posted it.

I don’t really see how Eko living would have benefited the story. Since what they planned to do with Eko was partially given to Locke and partially to Ben, I think that strengthened Locke and Ben’s characters.

I thought Eko was supposed to have Desmond's role although, if that's right, I'm glad he didn't because Des is perfect for it.

This episode is very Stephen King, a gem of episode just for that reason 🧐👌

This is SO GOOD. Cant` wait for next episode, and then... The great final run, The Variable, Follow The Leader and The Incident. Damn, this is gonna be AWESOME!!!!

I don't feel that little Charlie reminded Ben of Alex...he reminded him of himself. He realised that by killing Penny, he would be sentencing Charlie to a motherless childhood (and, as we know, Ben suffered so much without his mother in his life). Surprised that you feel Jacob was badly cast, because we haven't even seen him...unless that was the joke 😉

John sure seems to know a lot about the island now doesn't he? He's pretty confident too. Seems like before, he was unsure of himself a lot. There were times he was confident and convinced he was on a path as well. 'And if they just got somebody else to play Jacob, I think show would be a lot better'. That's interesting, when did we meet him?

Spoilers Its amazing writing how well hidden in plain sight Locke being the smoke monster is, its SO obvious. He even says Alex and Yemi is the monster, he knows its powers and what it does but theres just a blind spot when it comes to Locke. Its so well planted!
