Hey there! I have watched this video so many times, but forgot to say something! In 2020, I got a six-batch of blackstar hens, and one of them I had named after this hen, Kippie-Kip. She was my favorite… sadly, in early 2021, she had been taken by a raccoon. Thank you for making all these helpful and great videos!

Can I just say this: apart from being a great example to others in caring for animals, you're also a very skilled story-teller and video editor. Choice and pacing of music is brilliant too. You say in advance this story has a happy ending and I've even SEEN this vid before, but I'm still an emotional wreck at the end.

This man really went to the darkest dark to search for Chickychick and searched a long time what a freaking legend

When you said you found her in a pot, my heart sank and felt sad 😢. I thought somebody chopped her up and ate her, I was tearing up. I'm so glad she was just in there not dead.

She had come to me out of the blue and we became very close friends. She was one among many other ones living on a farm. I was just helping out and one day I had to leave. I will always remember her as " my Cocotte ! "

Funfact: The first noise a mother bird makes towards it's children is their name. When you called her Kippi-kip, you could hear her repeat her name. You could also hear she named her children similar things.

You touched a place, i put up walls around to protect. Didn't work with this video. At 62 i teared up good. With both Joy and anger. No not angry towards this at all. Anger that two legged predators made many of my fowls meet a bad ending or just vanished. And those that allowed them to get away with such acts. I've had some of my favorite chickens go that I was so attached to, not sure what got them but it's definitely heartbreaking. I kept reading the description of this video getting trolled by the "Found it in a pan" part - like, "Who ate your chicken! But you were happy? Was it that delicious?! D: "

I personally have the craziest obsession with poultry!!! I love kippekip and her chicks!! Albert is adorable!!!! So are his friends... I LOVE THEM... I myself also raise and spoil chickens and can't wait to get some quail...❤️❤️❤️😆😆🐥🐣🐥🐣

I thought I had watched all of your videos, but I missed this one, and oh my goodness, what a cute story! This warmed my heart so much! This reminds me of when I'm looking all over my house for one of my budgies, and they're just sitting there quietly in their little hiding spot, watching me frantically search for them, not making a single peep... silly birdies! This is my new favorite video of yours! I love her name too, so cute!

I remember the time my budgie flew to the top of the kitchen cabinets and sat there, silently, watching my family look everywhere for him. I'm sure he was laughing hysterically inside.

@@walllyisbestbird5227 This will make me sound like a bad bird mommy, but one time I left a roll of paper towels sitting upright on the kitchen counter & some how my Toti budgie crawled inside the roll & got stuck! She was only missing for about 20mins, but I was a mess trying to find her. I could hear her scratching, but she wasn't chirping. I finally followed the scratching noises to the paper towel roll & found her upside down in there! She was fine, but I felt awful. It could have ended badly if I wasn't at home. Ever since then I never leave paper towel rolls or anything like it just laying around. Fortunately it's a cute story that I look back on & giggle about. Toti loved exploring everything.

This video scared me, I thought she was gone forever but she was in a pot laying eggs I'm so happy! XD

H_peful she didn't lay eggs the owner bought eggs for Kippiekip because there was no rooster to breed so he bought fertilized eggs for KippieKip to hatch
