can you tell a solution to my problem . My hen has swelling under her beak and it has spread into her mouth,so she cant eat anything so i have to feed her . And one of her leg is swollen and it has red patches.

Chickens are such terribly misunderstood animals. They’re the number one most abused animal on earth. Spend time with them and you’ll see they’re much more than just the dumb food bird the food industry has brainwashed people into thinking. Thank you sir, for caring for this sweet girl. I know this was a couple years ago, there is a chance she may not be alive anymore, but you gave her the love and attention she deserved but never received. God bless you for caring for her.

Animals can be like that when they are truly in pain and need. Some of the most trusting animals I have were ones that were hurt or sick.

That poor birdy! I can’t imagine how uncomfortable and painful that condition must have been. I think tangerine felt that you were helping and that’s why she was so patient. I loved her little affirmative “gurrrs” when you worked on her.

Chickens really don't get enough recognition for how lovely they are as pets, they are intelligent and very social if you treat them correctly. This guy, he's got it down.

Its not that we need more people like him. Its that WE need to change and care for animals and people.

Your videos always cheer me up, and you inspire me. I share my home with 5 rescued budgies, and when one of them got sick I felt overwhelmed. I felt like I'm this big, scary human with clumsy hands, and my budgie, in need of care, was so small and fragile, I felt a little helpless when handling her. But after watching you take care of all these tiny animals, that gave me the courage to do what I needed to... and fortunately I was able to save my budgie. I really appreciate all that you do, you're an amazing human being!

It's amazing how calm the chicken was throughout the whole procedure of caring for her feet. She enjoyed your company. Great video.

To be fair, most chickens I've seen are assholes, so it isn't much of a bar to set. Although, its been a good 12 years since I've seen a live chicken, so maybe the chickens evolved or something idk.

This is a silkie and silkies are known to be very sweet and docile animals. And she came from a petting zoo so I'm sure she is used te be held and being petted.

I have never seen someone walk around with a peacock just perched on their shoulder, I've never seen anyone who is as in touch with animals as this, your work is amazing and I wish you the best of luck with your move, you're going to need an ark if you keep collecting animals at this rate lol

Hand reared chickens can be very calm. We had two hens growing up that would cuddle us in the yard when we came out. It helped we only had the two from chicks.

My aunt used to have a black silkie chicken named Shmoo He was such a softie that would jump into your arms if you held them open to him And then he'd promptly fall asleep. I miss him so much 😔

What a fun movie to watch. This reminds me so much of my old life. Always busy with chickens, birds, cats and dogs. Deflea hedgehogs and even secure mice and close holes that the cat had bitten in a mouse. People sometimes think you're crazy, but what a wonderful life to give something back to nature. To be busy with the critters, and what love you get back. Unconditionally. Nice to see that you also have such an eye for this. If you lived around the corner, I would love to meet you and hear your stories.. Love from the "sack of Zuidbeveland" a beautiful nature reserve in Zeeland.

I love your videos I would pay real money for more videos like the ones that you make they are so sweet and heartfelt and it always brightens my day when I watch them. It really makes me want to be a better person and help others just like you. We had a once tiny chickens, and one day my dad saw that one of them had a huge wound with a big bubble looking like a ping pong ball coming out of its chest. The other chickens sometimes picked on the bubble. We didn't had money to bring it to a doc so my dad decided to put it in the wild, but I couldn't let this happen. So I had a small stall where I put the tiny chicken in and I feed it everyday and gave it fresh water. The wound healed and over the time the chicken grow to become a beautiful white chicken. We decided to put it with the others, and we'll everyday the chicken saw me, it run towards me so I could pet it while the others usually ran away xD It was cute to have like my own chicken pet which I pet everyday and fed it from my hands ^^

I have a rooster like that,while the others fought us and each other like crazy,he had a foot infection,we fixed it with homemade stuff!till now he is still my best friend(his name is Rocky)

I've had a pet chicken, i really loved her before she died, i don't regret anything :'D

After watching a few of his videos, I find myself feeling better about things. Nature is amazing, and if people could get their heads away from the phones, tablets, etc., life is passing us by. Live it..feed a bird. Or a raccoon. 🦝🦝🦝

This video made me smile, because almost twenty years ago, when I was a little kid, one of my chickens had suffered from leg mites. Her scales looked horrible... My mom and I gave her feet a bubble bath every day. Very long baths, we used almost exactly the method from the video and I read the hen stories to keep her calm while her feet were in the warm soapy water. I didn't peel much, because I was scared to hurt her, but after a few days, the lumps began to fall off during the baths. The mites died from the soap in the water. After two weeks, the hen was healed. She lost her ugly bulging scales and grew beautiful new scales back. Great video!!! Also, with help of this channel, last week I was able to save two baby quails during hatching, which were stuck in their eggs and would have died otherwise. Thank you very much!!!

@@katierhodes5072 Um... Surely you understand that the first sentence was in reference to the petting zoo he got Tangerine from? It's basic reading comprehension; the *second* sentence was in reference to the channel owner (the person in the video who *actually helped the bird*)

Ive heard that chickens are actually fairly intelligent birds and can recognize people and enjoy being pet also they are very valuable for eggs!. It warms my heart that he went out of his way to save her.

This channel and Urban Rescue Ranch are like polar opposites in their vibes, but exactly the same in their care for the animals.

During the process the chicken was probably thinking "this man is trying to help me so I'll endure a bit of pain"

He is the most kindest person ever and will do anything to help these animals

My daughter and I just bathed, cuddled, and fed treats to our silkie Willow. Then this wonderful video popped up. She is so sweet just like Tanderine.

Some very moving and touching moments, you have huge patience too. It goes without saying thank you is not enough, you’re a blessing to all these dear animals. I just wonder why the petting place let her get into this situation, well I’d do, but I find it hard to make sense of it. You’re a star!

He has 2 daughters...idk about a wife/gf/etc. (I wanna say I MIGHT have seen a woman his age in one of his vids once...but not sure...coulda been his daughter.) He seems like a good dad too. His daughters help him and care for the animals as well. So he raised them good. He's just a good guy all around. I am always happy to see other humans caring for and loving animals the same as me. They DESERVE A GOOD, HAPPY, HEALTHY, FULL LIFE TOO!
