You know what I find crazy about Game Knights? I don't play Magic the gathering at all. I've never bought a single card and i still don't fully get how the rules work. But I've never missed an episode because no KZread series makes me feel like I'm hanging out with some buddies on a Saturday night nerding out like this does. So a heartfelt thank you to everyone from the Commandzone from a longtime fan who can't always keep up with whats going on but tries his best and enjoys every second. CHEERS!

Now with these precons being extremely strong right out of the box it’s likely the best time to play along with all the info sites, arena etc. I would recommend all the ixalan precons, the Warhammer ones or the master series precons 🎉

@@VCV95When I first saw him he felt way too over the top for me. But the more you watch videos of him the more his style of "acting"/performing really grows on you and it's so funny. Hopefully he makes more appearances on Game Knights.

Finnaly being able to see jimmy say “are you gonna pay the 1” is so cathartic

This is probably my favorite episode so far. I love both of the guests and everyone’s deck was popping off

the pirate makeovers when jimmy recruits creatures made me laugh

Editors really went above and beyond on this episode!

42:15 was hilarious

It makes such a huge difference when the professor is at the table. He lightens up the games so much and the other players also enjoy the game much more. It's not about anyone having to make a clown of themselves at the table, but it should be a lesson to all players on how their behavior can have a lasting effect on the fun of all players. Super great game, more of it please.

thats exactly what i felt too so thank you for the comment :D . Just about 20 mins in and its already so funny and lighthearted with Voxys laugh and the Prof on board, it has to be one of THE best Episodes of Game Knights ever. just all around wonderful to watch 😂

“The math is for blockers”. OMG, that is such a “frick you” when attacking. I love it!

Definitely the best GK in awhile. Jimmy's pirate voice was amazing.

30:44 I just wanted to point this out. I LOVED the voice acting on the "yarr" there. like it isnt a regular pirate yarr but it has that vampire tone in it. it sounds mischevious, dark and almost mocking. the voice acting accurately gives the feeling of a vampire who somehow snuck into the pirate crew, and is working with them with his own hidden schemes, not to mention how good it fits the art of the card. I know this is a weird thing to point out maybe, but I just wanted to say incredible job on that bit of voice acting there

The animation for Deeproot Waters is impressive

This was a great time! Please have both Prof and Voxy on as often as possible.

What a good episode, great dynamics between everyone at the table. Feels a little more loose and natural than usual, I think Prof and Voxy both bring a good frantic energy.

Probably the best and most fun episode to date. They all have great dynamics and banter after playing together for so long. Amazing episode!!

Words can’t describe how much I love this video and channel. I had a life altering injury a month ago and as a new player, each of your channels has given me something to lift my spirits through the recovery process. This video right here is by far my favorite. Everyone had me laughing to tears and I learned so much to bring along to game nights with my best friends. From the bottom of my heart.. Thank you.

The trash talk & chemistry was on point with this episode! Editing was A+ too.

I LOVE when the games go down like this! Josh coming out swinging like a Juggernaut, Jimmy not having the mana drought while showing how tuned the deck is, Voxy with the most exciting Top Deck, and the Professor is always a joy to watch compete. WONDERFUL episode!

I LOVED all the little sound effects littered in the video. It made for an entertaining watch! Yarrrr!!

Prof's quick-witted remarks followed up by Voxy's reactions are the best combo in MTG right now. Also, this was probably one of my favorite episodes in recent memory not only because of the guests but because everyone got to do what their deck wanted to do.

Bruh, I'm not even halfway through the episode and I'm laughing my ass off at Prof's "AND MY BACK HURTS!" and Jimmy's pirate voice. Is this real life?

New MTG fan here. Been distantly curious for a while. Recently got hooked on MTG Arena, and have now ordered my first commander decks. Found my way here to see if I could get some pointers (I picked up that sweet Pantlaza precon), and I just gotta say, as someone new to the world of Magic content. This video is gorgeous. The lighting, imagery and sound quality, the editing, the whole well-executed production from start to finish is so well polished and something to be proud of. Well done you guys! Subscribed!

Honestly probably the best EVER command zone episode- every deck did their thing and there was tons of action and humor! Plus the editing was top notch.

This is easily my favorite episode of game knights EVER

Prof and Voxy are always fun guests to see, it’s great that they’re in this episode together! Thanks for the cool show everyone!

Is it just me or was Prof on fire with the humor in this episode. Had me dying the whole time, haha.

As someone who is very new to MTG (I’m talking less than two weeks) this channel has been my favorite to learn from. The thought and production that goes into making these videos enjoyable and understandable, even to someone new, is unmatched. Keep up the great work

Game Knights brought me to back to playing Magic after not playing for almost 20 years and introduced me to commander. This is by far the best episode to come out. 🎉

Me and my friends started learning magic when the first ixalan set came out playing one of the tribes each. A few years back we all fell out of love with the game but with the new release we all grabbed a precon kept it raw and we have all fallen back in love with the game its like been a kid again

Josh(sitting on a rock in front of a waterfall): Lands are the most important cards because you can't play without them. "Achieve illumination"

The sound editing on the video is so on point 😂

This was one of the most intense games so far. Good job everyone

Jimmy Pirate voice was so wel done. Absolutely loved it.

I loved seeing how much synergy you guys gave your decks! I can also tell the editors has a lot of fun turning creature cards into pirates 🤣

At 1:03:45, the Stroke of Midnight isn't actually countered - the enchantment is indestructible, it doesn't have hexproof via Boros Charm, so the Stroke would still resolve and Jimmy would get the 1/1 token.

bro the spell is to destroy it, if it the enchantment can not be destroyed due to the charm, the spell can not resolve.

@@sabertooth509 Nothing on Stroke of Midnight says the permanent has to be destroyed in order for the token to be created. The enchantment is still a legal target for the Stroke when it resolves, even if it's indestructible, and when the spell resolves, we do as much as possible. The enchantment isn't destroyed since the permanent is indestructible, but Jimmy still creates the token, even if it's not destroyed. If it had to be destroyed it would be worded like "Destroy target nonland permanent. *If that permanent was destroyed this way*, that permanent's controller creates a 1/1 token".

@@sabertooth509 The rule in general is that effects do as much as they can do. The effect does two things: destroy the enchantment and create a token. It can't destroy the enchantment, then sure, it doesn't do that. But it creates the token. (On the other hand, if the enchantment had hexproof, the spell wouldn't resolve. That's not "because it cannot destroy the enchantment" - it's because there's a rule that says that, if a spell has targets, and none of the spell's targets are legal targets when it resolves, it doesn't resolve. Note that they simply have to be legal, not reasonable: you can target an indestructible enchantment because nothing says you can't, even if the effect won't do anything useful.)

This episode was such a blast. The dynamic of this group was off the charts!

Love seeing episodes that are an hour and a half or longer.

WHat a great game! SO entertaining and such great turns. Jimmy's choosing to turn his own commander into a treasure token to dodge is own Toxic Deluge was so big brained. All of these decks actually seem quite strong and fun!

Hands down one of the funniest episodes you guys have ever done

First off, absolutely my favorite episode being able to hear the banter and it seems much more like a game between friends. Also I caught a rare moment where something was off but its minor. At 56:26 the damage numbers on voxy and josh are what the creatures were pre buffed by jimmys commander and not what the damage was that they actually took
