I think people didn't like his video about XIV , because he made pretty much zero points. Story is lame = Skips all story (has no clue) Things make no sense = Buys level boost. Etc. He has some nice videos, but often it just talking stuff that makes no sense or complaining about something because he doesn't get it.

Heavensward was good, but I wouldn't call it great. FF14 was fairly pedestrian compared to other stories in the FF franchise that have told the same story (Evil Empire+ Magic Crystal Chaos/Darkness + etc) significantly better. A lot of people forget how much low quality storytelling and filler you have to sit through in MSQ before it actually starts getting good.

This game is definitely a good game. The pretty graphics and the sophistication of the details are amazing. You won't find graphic fragmentation in a myriad of places. It's also good because it's a game that can be played to the end even in f2p. It is said that there are many people who enjoy endgames through f2p even in kor suv, the hometown of this game. In fact, when I played the game myself, the p2w element is not bad either. Expensive ingredients are available in small quantities at the Marie Shop but at reasonable prices. I've seen articles saying that this game always amazingly updates the quality of the game as much as it makes money. A game to look forward to in the future.

Wait until you get to Dark Rain Plains MSQ. Makes me wonder if I'll ever go back to a regular camera mmo.

The thing with ads in videos instead of youtube is that i can double tap spam to skip insyead of waiting 5 secs to skip or forced to watch entire 30 sec ad... cause to be frank befor ad blocker if i had to watch ad i would assume vid isnt worth it and wont watch it

The best part about that Castle siege level was playing the Doom Eternal soundtrack.

The thing with Lazy Peon's FFXIV video was that, yes it was negative, but it was also EXTREMELY incorrect and gave a horrid impression into the game. Like it just flat out was one of the worst videos he had ever made. It's why he deleted it and then did a whole video series where he revisited the game.

Snapping the Shield on/off to deal with mechanics makes it a lot easier to solo bosses, rather than leaving it active for long periods.

@@boiqi they acted as prologue stages in the Korean release initially but they decided to scrap all of that and made all the characters start at Trua equally. The justification I think was that those prologue stages were just so long that a lot of new players quickly got bored of the game so they decided to make a more fast paced prologue stage. But yea a lot of Korean players also want the old prologue to be accessible

Berzerker has more sustained damage and more survivability than deathblade. I play both, deathblade is better in pvp but on pve zerker is far superior.

I actually think the cutscenes are mediocre at best. The face animations of the characters and lipsync are non existent, and when whole lines disappear from the voice lines or the subtitles don't match with the voice lines, it throws me out of the scene so much. I really enjoy the combat, the dungeons, the bosses, the mechanics, but the cutscenes.... not so much.

One thing I think will make the game significantly more enjoyable is to download to korean va patch, the english va is making some of the already bad dialogue even more cringe and nonsensical. At least in korean, you can just treat it as an alien fantasy language, add to the mystic.

@@georgewillow112 First of all, it's more than 2 skills and theres plenty of good shit in the normal toolkit, secondly demon form is fucking insane dps I always top the dps in abyssal and even Chaos dungeons now so I'm not sure what you're trying to get at. No shit demon form is the main point of the class, how is that a bad thing. That's like saying gunslinger is bad because the main point is to use multiple types of guns. Also I was referring to the demon part of the story where you take over Armen in demon form. Which asmon called the demon part. I was saying that part is only 1/10th the fun and power you have while in demon form as a shadowhunter. Because earlier in the video he was saying who would want to play Shadowhunter instead of Zerker....then went on to say the "demon part" was so badass and so fun.
