I'd say beginning of the game is very nostalgic for me, was very fun. Of course at launch more people played lower tier dungeons, but experiencing everything for the first time was fun.

Great vid! its refreshing seeing someone else's perspective of the game without any outside influence's. I've been playing Lost Ark since release but really enjoy vids like this which remind me where it all started. Like most MMO's Lost Ark rewards the grind and the more you play the faster you'll progress. On that note though burn out is a very real thing and I've lost friends who have quit because they couldn't moderate their playtime. The way I see it this game offers a lot but you don't have to do everything all at once. I just play what I enjoy at the time when I'm in the mood. I think its a much healthier approach to a game like this. Good luck on your future vids, can't wait to watch them! tip: Spirit Absorption engraving makes destroyer run faster and helps overall dps, especially as you seem to enjoy his hypergravity mode 😄

Hello, I'm from the KZread algorithm. Just like any other MMO the leveling/questing experience from level 1 is only the iceberg of what you are going to experience in this game, the endgame loop once you have finished the story and start doing dailies and raids and stuff like that are going to be entirely different and is probably the main part people keep playing this game. I hope you stick around, this game really needs new players that choose to stay and experience what's great about Lost Ark.

Silver will be useful once you start honing your gear, which is something you won't have to worry about until you reach lvl 50. Pheons you can consume and they will be stored in the chest icon on the menu at the top of your screen, you wont need pheons for a long time but they are very valuable. Crystalline aura unlocks a lot of perks, like a second tab on your inventory, being able to repair or open your big storage all from pressing Alt+P or Crtl+right click on your pet. Also, those blue crystal they give you, don't use them. If you see something that cost blue crystals, don't use them. Blue crystals are a very important currency later on and it costs gold to get them so try to save whatever they give you for free.

like this type of content cause it gives me nostalgia when i started playing the game, so many goosebumps, keep it going :)

Hello mr, really liked your vid and glad you had some fun the best advice i can give it to you about the items is to save what ever item you dont know what it does u will slowly interoduced to each item and pay attention to the guide quests they will teach you about the game systems and stuff to power up sort of

If you use some preemptive strike books from boxes you collect it is a great engraving for leveling

Those books you read are part of the engraving system, the books you get are split into 2 categories class engravings and combat engravings. Not going to go into a lot of detail but at your stage try and get 20 class engravings and 20 preemptive strike or spirit absorbtion. Spirit absorbtion increases your move and atk speed while preemptive strike increases your dmg vs lower tier mobs

Great video. For the free items, when in doubt just put it in your storage (can be accessed through pet - alt + p) since you will probably need them later.

well this reminds me of my old start of my journey. As for all the items you get at the start - if you don't need them for the quest, keep them for later (far later), as there are some endgame items you've already recieved and have no use for them while you level. But just enjoy the story for the time being. Another tip would be to try to not use the blue and purple potions or as little as possible while leveling - %hp gain is quite good in this game and you'll need them later on

You got the items because the Publisher, Amazon, and Developer, Smilegate, put out a letter to the community addressing certain issues the community has as well as their plans going forward outside of what content they are releasing. Along with that we got a gift containing most of the stuff you got. The thing you did with Neria is called Rapport one of the many horizontal progression systems in the game with some very nice rewards behind it. Cards are a long term progression system that you'll deal with later. You can mix and match them, but generally you stick to 1 BIS set. They definitely take a while to get, so you'll probably use the new player one Deep Dive for a while.

The Blue Robe item you gave in your inventory will make you run faster for a little while. You can carry 5 or 6 of them in a dungeon I believe. You can get more from the battle chest (you can preview the chests in your inventory and read the item descriptions. The CODEX will be your friend, it will tell you where and how to get any item, or at least tell you from where you’d get it if it doesn’t have specifics.

Its true swiftness robes do that but I highly recommend saving those battle items for the legion raids which require them. Using them to speed up travel for a few seconds in a dungeon seems like a bit of a waste tbh. Because the op chose a Gravity Training Destroyer as his main I'd recommend using accessories/engravings with Spirit Absorption. Not only will it make the destroyer run faster but it is actually a core engraving for gravity training and will be a big increase to overall dps.

every game has issues. ignore everyone and play the game until you are no longer having fun like you should play any game. enjoyed the video !

Hey man, first off all, great video, love the fact that you choose destroyer, as a destroyer main myself :) If I could give you any advice: 1.) I would save any items you get from your story progression, you don't really need them, all you need are just your regular potions and that's about it, don't worry about other items just for now (also don't use phoenix plumes they are very valuable in the end game, and there are not that much that you can really get, same goes for %HP potions) 2.) Skills Earth Eater is your best friend for the story, max it to level 10 and take Red Shards/Perspiration/Rock Storm and you are good to go for clearing thrash mobs, for bosses, Perfect Swing/Full Swing are your best friends and your Hypergravity Skill (One use of it can just knock the boss). For Perfect Swing I would suggest going Absolute Strength/Unnecessary Time/Intemperance and for Full Swing just go any damage tripods they are all ok, also take Quick Hit on Heavy Crush and Atk Speed+ on Power Strike and you're good to go for the story all the other points just go with the abilities you like :) 3.) There was a bit at the end where you talked about being slow, best thing I can say you could take Spirit Absorption engraving for a bit of the move speed and atk speed buff but that's about it, also use your Movement skill in the dungeons often since it's on pretty low cooldown There's a lot more things about the game but you shouldn't worry about them just yet, enjoy your time through the story, and if you have any other questions you could contact me in the game if you are on EUC/Zinnervale or just reply to the comment, anyway, have fun :D

New player tips: Try not to use the %HP potions (battle items) you can but they are mainly saved/used for raids/guardian raids. Things you can claim immediately to save inventory space Pheons Adventure tome collectibles (yellow card on bottom-right symbol) though you could double-check it on the Market>Add item to see if it’s worth anything. Green house symbol claim and it’ll go to your stronghold inventory Once you unlock your stronghold I recommend trying to research as much as you can whenever you can as it takes a lot of time.

I recommend storing most of the chest items you received for free in the storage until you are ready to open/use them. Most of it is for endgame content (past lvl50) Battle items, rapport, honing materials, etc

i play it since release and i can say it isnt pay to win.. i mean yeah you can buy stuff like stones for your armor but it has a limit.^^ and it s much easier to lvl up and it is the perfect time to play as an newbie

If you can and don't get bored of the game, atleast try to get to the Vykas raid. But yeah, the game opens op more after level 50. Have fun and food luck! And also with engravings and such, you'll have more fun and gain faster bar for your ultimate. I say, just play and enjoy. With potions you can move faster but I was also slow when starting this game. Still am. :D (Sorc Igniter)

The bosses you're experiencing this early into the game are nothing compared to how hardcore raids get later. Everything up until item level 1370 is basically one big tutorial

Honestly it sucks that you aren't gonna be experience islands like we did when the game came out. I personally really enjoyed having to scramble through the world for mats. The story express provides you with all the gear need so you never need to do those. It's way better for newer players but takes from the experience tbh.

if you ever need help there are several guides and discord severs with friendly people if you ever reach the endgame 😊

tips i can give for leveling. use swiftness accessories for movement speed and atk speed, if possible all swiftness if there are two option in the accessory spec/crit is the best second option. in a dungeon when you see the blue mark in the mini map just go directly to its location you dont need to kill all the mobs you came across unless its part of the dungeon quest. i also recommend to use repear as your starting class since the game with give you 2 free level 50 chars after you finish north vern, you can choose your main class by then. as much as possible go only for the main/purple/chain quest when leveling to save time

WELCOME TO THE SUFFERING! Jokes aside, when you get to endgame just remember to pace yourself... you won't get to the same level as the people who have been playing alot, in a week or month. It's difficult to brute force stuff for too long without burning out. Just slow down if u get tired and you'll continue to enjoy the game :) If you can get there, there is alot of stuff to experience that you simply won't find in any other game. The combat and boss fights are first class :)

You got a lot to learn, honestly I'd just say play the game blind til you finish punika, then you need to take a college course on everything you need to do

the game is not p2w, you can relax about that, you don't need to pay anything to get strong for the end game

You’re really going to have to do your research at some point with this game. There is a ton of horizontal content you have to do for skill points and runes.

One thing that I noticed that at some point they kind of tossed the story to the side and just focused on just the boss battles. Eventually the remaining content is going to be you teleporting to some random unknown place to fight a boss. It doesn't show how you got there, it doesn't show you where the place is, and you're just there to kill some random bad guys. Also you don't even really know why they're bad. Most of them is your first time seeing them and you don't know anything about what they have done or who they are. They just appear and you are just told they are bad so go kill them.

the game is actually really fun combat/raids but story delivery could have been better you have to do extra searching to realise that story is not that bad, understand that most of the negativity comes from players min maxing this game playing it like a job by creating multiple characters and doing the same raids on all of them to get more gold/mats these raids have mechanics that wipe whole party if one guy makes a mistake thus why gatekeeping exist people want to minmax no time for fails they gotta this raid on other characters it's a recipe for a toxic environment. you shouldn't play more characters if it isn't for the fun of it like I play two characters only one at the latest endgame and other is very close, classes in this game are amazing raids too playing with a static or friends is preferred so you avoid the toxic hardcore players.

Lost Ark. Waited for this game like more than anything else before. Was an absolute beast trailer, epic announcements... until it came out with p2w model, targeting teen/kids as main player base... what I can say. Jeez, just look at 18:26... He is standing there on a flying skateboard 😂😂😂 Most anticipated game ever, i cant even force myself to download that toddlers garbage

the thing is when you get to tear 1 stuff you're basically alone, there is nobody playing them anymore, everybody is too busy gatekeeping new players from the high level raids

I don't get how someone can play an MMO for this long in the game without any other player interaction. Ppl lost the sense of MMO which is a community of players in a single world. It just looks like each player has its own private dg and don't need other players to succeed. Sucks

Just use berserker warrior class if u want walk faster character and hit big damage.. there is 1 mode for him press Z with the engraving enable and must equip and went berserk mode forever in the dungeon and buff big DPS, just some - effect 70% hp are lock, and u got 30% hp left to survive, what i can say is berserker class is a friendly use for new player.. the game has a complicated build in every class so recommend to watch youtube some class build guide is necessary. hope this helpful... destroyer class is slow but is a fun gigachad class u can do for both engraving i use gravity engraving go bonk mode ignore boss counter and keep bonking the head

tell me 1 mmorpg not p2w?? everyone just keeep saying all mmorpg games is p2w, the thing is you can choose to spend monyer or spend more time for grinding. whales usually choose to spend money and buying some enhancing mats but still in all mmorpg enhancing is RNG lol

game is fun until end game and for a couple of weeks cuz is all "new" and the progression tricks you.. all seems easy and free until 1490.. once you get in the loop homework pain and repeat the same raids and sht for more than 3 month u will feel the burn out some people play up to 24 char just to grind all the possible mats.. and all of this just to be "average gs" as free2play or low spender. imagine having 4k hour in one year just to be a "peasant among whales" sink that for a moment what this mean. enjoy your first month on this game, when the loop start. Burn it.

good thing u chosed destroyer.. cuz even if all class are viable it doesn't mean there is no class discrimination or advantages. for example your class is op cuz can both tank quite a bit of damage and have push immunity tools (you will know how valuable is only in hard content) while also maintaining TOP DPS. this can't be said for some other class that unfortunately deal less damage while being also more squishy or hard to maneuver. in a nutshell some class are kinda a trap.. if you want to go safe chose the one that do "big burst chunk of damage" finish/killing the content as fast you can is the key of the meta. Speed is king in every game that has a timer. you skip so many bs making it also easier for the group.

the very vast majority of players dont play 24 characters and the ones that do usually have a very good roster and are for sure not "peasants among whales". This is an MMO there is always gonna be a gameplay loop the question is do you like the loop or not

@@1NabbinatoR Most people don't need 24 char to keep up with other whales. Got 2 friends with only 2 characters completely free to play with 20 weapon, 90+ quality and topping dps in every raid we play on. Even if I have 15 characters I would never catch up to them in terms of ilvl because the ROI of each alts is more expensive than what they earn. The only reason you play more than 1 character is because you want to try new a character. Other than that an alt would never pay itself off from what you invested on them.

Most of the players don't use 24 characters, and the huge majority only play 6 because that is the amount of characters that you can create for free and the amount of characters that will earn gold from raids. Also most players have jobs so it's impossible to play 24 characters every day. But that doesn't stop them to play the end game content, i don't have the time to use more than 6 characters each week and i can still play Brel hard with 2 of my 6 characters, and i didn't spend any money, so what you're saying is just pure misinformation based on your own experience with the game, but it doesn't mean is the same for everyone else.

if you want to walk faster try to get the engraving spirit absortion, collect 20x green books learn them and equip it in both slots, other option is getting swiftness
