If you have decent healers you can probably just fast tank most of the mechanics with the mokoko buff on normal difficulty. I think for the vast majority of people, just goofing around and having fun brings a lot more joy and keeps people playing rather than super hard challenge where you must gatekeep to progress. If you make a game for the 1% then you deserve 1% of the potential players.

Imo this is the reason poe and d2 will always be the goats when it comes to rpg games although they aren't mmo's, they still require a time investment to get good gear and do endgame content. The difference that makes them fun and less of a chore is that the game rewards you for doing what you want to do. You can get amazing currency, levels, and upgrades just by having fun and doing your thing.

The new servers are juiced and actually refreshing, try it out for a couple hours tbh nothing to lose.

you can play it on SEA by simply getting a US steam account. People help create that for free or for $1. (I'm from SEA)

@@ainoyu6675 depend on your ISP , i played with 200-215 ping only got 0.2s or 0.4s delay , or just use app that reduce lag

I wish I got PT to goof around like that too. I jump in because of the Jump start and I didn't do any single of Coop content and I'm already at 1475. I start to see Gold as a requirement for progressing and then I felt left out from endgame content by a lot. I try to find a PROG group or any group that will start the Learning process of this game's End game content, and I see none. Mostly ask for Support to be in a super strong group to get carry. Now I Kinda loss since the Raid seem so much fun but also it a little too, what to say ? Overwhelm to try it as a new player ?

But it seem this server is for Old player to get a fresh new Endgame Geared Character that will be merge into their main Server later, I don't know for sure. The playerbase who willing to keep a new player in by teaching them is not there. Or maybe I didn't find it hard enough ?

When was the last time you played , i'm a very casual player only doing the raids and weeklies on 2 chars, never do dailies and am still able to keep up , like when Akkan came out i was able to attempt it on the first week , cleared it on 2nd. The game has changed a lot over the past 3-4 months

The problem is later raids have lots of mechanics that wipe the raid if 1-2 ppl fuck up and if you do it with random ppl it gets exhausting really fast. Raid with a fixed grp on the other hand is really fun

The daily grind is a lot less now and they also changed a lot of the wipe mechs on most raids to be less punishing or simply not wipe the entire team and just kill that one person that made the mistake. The game is at a WAY healthier state now and they are doing great changes towards the right direction the past 3 months. -Recall

@@stoopzzhighlightsYeah, one daily guardian and much quicker chaos dungeon made daily activities much easier to stomach. Plus crappy raid gates being removed like Vykas 1 and Kayangel 1 also helps alleviate fatigue with raiding for gold.

if u playing at new jump server, u can get 2 south vern pass, that pass will give u relic set, and 1 more from story sxpress but u need clear all quest from lvl 1 to south vern, in total u can 3 free relic set

How does jump start work? It skips me straight to elgacia without doing any quests?

Not Elgacia, you get one(or two not sure) free South Vern Pass once you log in with your character and then you can buy an Elgacia pass for like 10$ that will get you to 1460. This plus the super mokoko express you can basically get 1490 is a couple of hours.

I think they should merge it with an existing server, there's no need to separate the playerbase further.

@@lilmoose06 It'll be its own separate server but still within the region. At some point you can do party finder, market, etc with the rest of the specific region, but for now all that is isolated to the jump start server.

Unfortunately this Fresh start did not do what it was supposed to do, all I see is veteran players. SmileGate needs to lower difficulty of normal raids so people can do them with randoms without having to socialize and looking in PF. In most games no one uses PF outside of very hard content, in Lost Ark you need it for most basic things.

Progression is way better.. Horizontal feels infinitely worse. They said they were trying to make the game better... can't fool me twice.

Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice... I am not falling for you crap AGS. "Fresh start" servers are already gatekeeping and the experience is quickly becoming like the normal servers. I did not have high hopes bad man this was a fast downslope. The horizontal progression is abysmal, even more so that the live servers. It amazes me that AGS fooled streamers into believing this was good for a new player. sadge

don't get intimidated by the veteran room on the jump start server , there still more fresh people that jump in , just try to create a prog/learning room

Lost Ark is over-contented shit. There is so much to do for new player that never had experience with LA that is simple frustrating. I played for like 20 minutes, had my inventory spammed with some chests, crystals, all this kind of shit, deleted the game after disconnect.
