this is great, i truly believe this is a skill cap boss. Doesn't matter how much you've paid, this is clear evidence that the boss doesn't care about you having incredible gear, but a balance and coordination between your gear, brain and your hands, great stuff with the bossess by lost ark.

@@tomidik5562 vykas took my static 5 hours to prog all 3 gates, really not hard but there's a difference between clearing and recognizing all normal pattern attacks, which you will need to learn to bus. Imo without looking up all the normal attacks in a guide it should take around 20+ hours to fully learn all mechs.

i also dont play the game at all, even as a casual onlooker or outsider of the game i can notice mechanics pretty fast. its amazeing the amount of players no brains or thumbs these days.

It makes a nice contrast between the fact the game is pay to win (i.e you can literally buy power through honing mats in the shop and gems in the auction house) and the fact some bosses just don't care for how strong you seemingly are. So the devs make money off of whales who waste thousands of dollars to get that big item level, only for the legion bosses to basically put up the middle finger and say they don't give a shit about your item level. It's genius in a way.

@@okagron It's a perfect balance, if ilvl could carry you people would just quit the game cause it would be unfair, but no matter the ilvl you have to play mechanics so as long as you find a group and don't have to put up with gate-keeping pugs then there is no problem doing legion raids on ilvl and just taking the game slow and steady

reminds me of the days i used to raid in destiny 1 and 2. it was so important to do callouts since its pretty mechanic heavy. i think in this situation asmon is stretching himself out a lil to thin and not relying on his squad members to cover their quadrant

He's finally done it, DSP levels of gaming

to be fair, it looks a lot easier than it actually is. i cleared all gates hardmode with my guild group and we watched guides and had good communication and it still took us 4h on gate 1 and 3,5h on gate 2 i think it was 6-7 hours on gate 3 but the fights are actually a lot of fun and the clear feels sooo satisfying after so much time invested. Asmon didn't watch any guide goes in full blind and still manages most of the mechs. Didn't saw the stream , did he clear all 3 gates on hardmode with pugs? if so that's pretty impressive. to everyone who struggles, it's all practise. and to all of you who cleared it , wish you a good reclear for this week ID

For my static gate 1 was 8 hours. Yes, 8 HOURS! Everybody has to do the mechanics right and everybody has to stay alive. G2 was around 1 hour and G3 was one and a half hour. What I noticed in this video (and also previous Valtan clears) is that the problem is, that Asmon is too greedy when it comes to damage. He wants to constantly damage the boss not caring about basic attacks and sometimes about wipe mechanics. Easy: if you don't want to learn basic patterns, prepare to bring splendid potions, or if you see the floor is red, dodge and don't try to cast one more last skill for 5 million damage, because it doesn't worth it. And most importantly: if the boss teleports to the middle, it means a mechanic is comming. Stop the dps and wait for the mechanic. There is usually decreased damage during main mechanics, so damaging during it has no point, you just get your party killed. For me a greedy dps is an instant kick from the party, I don't care about the itemlevel. Mechanics comes first, then dps, not the other way around

Because the game is not P2W as you progress further but other MMO andies love to spread false information about Lost Ark because the game is number 1 MMO right now. Saving time and resources, while learning IS fun compared to barely finishing a full run in 6-8h after changing groups multiple times. I need 4 total vykas runs for my set, so that adds up fast for time wasted which would make it even less fun/enjoyable. To each their own, but I value my free time and I don't play video games to become more irritated and stressed out after a 40h work week.

I totally agree, this is entertaining and lucky that they have a "whale" who doesn't trash other players mistakes..

we did g1 and g2 blind and it was alot of fun... it did take alot of time though

Going blind is great when your with people you know but if your with randoms and constantly wipe the grp because you don't know what your doing that's a different story.
