LOSING MY PATIENTS | Surgeon Simulator 2 Song with Bonecage!

Музыка

In Bossa Studios' 'Surgeon Simulator 2' you are tasked the delicate procedure of saving lives at the tip of a scalpel. Or, if you prefer, a hacksaw, an aubergine or some donuts. In Surgeon Simulator 2 anything goes, except perhaps the Hippocratic oath.
I finally got the chance to work with the fantastic Bonecage on this project. He's insanely talented and criminally underrated so please do check out his channel for some of the most wonderfully bizarre music you'll find on KZread!
His musical skills in the realm of rock allowed me to explore a new sound for this song! I've wanted to do a more rock sounding number for a while and the zany nature of Surgeon Sim was a perfect fit. I tried my best to channel my inner Weird Al for this one, one of my earliest influences, along with a healthy dose of B52s.
This was the LAST video to be filmed in my house before I move in a few weeks time to start setting up my own production space! I have some content planned for the next couple of months but this will be the last live action video I make for a while whilst I sort my life into boxes and then out of boxes at the other end! Please stick around, there's lots of exciting stuff on the way!
Thanks to my Patrons for making this music video possible and to Lizzy for her help putting the video together!

LYRICS: New day and I’m raring to start Ok, let’s look at your chart New spleen? Cool beans, pretty routine But what say we take a look at your heart? It seems we’re fresh out of spleens But that won’t matter a smidge I’ve sent Milo to see What we have got in the fridge These kidneys won’t keep So while you’re blissfully sleeping I’ll throw some in for free A little treat in your treatment You say you wanna be my patient? Well go ahead, make my day Open up so I can feel your heart beat I wanna get inside you in a good way You ate it HARD for breakfast Baby, now you're scrambled eggs HEY MAN I'm gonna fix what's broken I wanna get inside you in a good way You might find a shrub for a lung unlikely Nurse misheard me when I asked for an IV At least try three has no cats on your CAT scan What were you expecting when you asked for a trans-plant? We soon gave up with the tracking the rates of patient survival ‘Cus I am psych-i-opathic as I am homeo-cidal We heard it’s hip to recycle so now your hip’s a bicycle And we replaced your slipped disc with this record on vinyl Digging through your small intestine Gonna give you what you need Sauerkraut and poor digestion are my two least favourite things I wanna cut you open and take you apart And put you right back together again Eye for an eye And an arm for a leg And a pickle for an arm HEY! What’s that doing in there? You say you got a bad kidney I'll put it in it's place Open up I wanna cure what ails you I wanna get inside you in a good way Well I'm a second-class sawbones But baby that's ok Come on! I'm gonna fix what's broken I wanna get inside you in a good way Day four of my medical residence There’s organs to jettison and the morgue needs some specimens Hippocratically negligent like I’m hacking at venison There’s a reason it’s called ‘Practising medicine’ So I’m excited to make your acquaintance In the waiting room I’ve made in my basement ‘Cus I crave the sensation of your brains in my waste bin I’m a nice guy but I keep losing my patients If your internals have curdled and need Some surgery urgently It must be an emergency If your GP refers to me I’m certain you’d prefer to see Some nerd from university Earned their degree deservedly ‘Stead of free when they purchased the Learnin’ Surgery DVD This infernal infirmary There’s a quirk in your circuitry We’ll work on it externally Pretty soon you’ll be surfing the One way gurney to purgatory All aboard to absurdity Anaesthetic’s a courtesy You say you wanna be my patient? Well go ahead, make my day Open up so I can feel your heart beat I wanna get inside you in a good way You ate it HARD for breakfast And now you're scrambled eggs HEY MAN I'm gonna fix what's broken I wanna get inside you in a good way I wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients) Wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients) Wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients) I wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients) Wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients) Wanna get inside you in a good way (Ooh, I keep losing my patients)

@ocnaug2767 Psychopathic and homicidal are two negatively associated words, the puns used jokingly by Stups' character to describe his reckless and dangerous treatment of their patients. Psychopathic, while a description word for a disorder is vulgarly to describe a dangerous unfeeling person. The pun also references psychology (the study of the mind and its behaviors) and psyche (the human mind) Homicide is the act of murder against your fellow man, and homicidal is feeling murderous or capable of harming and killing someone. The pun is either homeopathy, a type of pseudoscience or homo, a genus, and an ancestor of man
