This watch looks like a mix of vintage watches from Tag Heuer, Breitling and Omega, without being a copy of any of them. Looks amazing. I already have got Lorier Neptune and I cannot wait to get this one too.

I do like the idea of the plexiglass and totally agree with you about that case back, at least some watch info would be fine. Good looking cronograph.

That is a very nice looking watch. I would have preferred a sapphire crystal though

Bobby, It would be of interest and value to see a retrospective review, at the one year mark; given your concerns about how robust this watch may or may not be. I am curious as to whether the movement in this watch has the swan neck regulator or not. Seagull makes both versions. The Swan Neck is a slightly higher grade and price from Seagull.

Nice review! I’d recommend a light box rather than multiple lights or whatever the light source is, it’s creating many sharp light reflections. A light box would soften all that.

man that plexiglass looks soooo damn good. sapphire could never give that.

What? Sapphire looks much better?

So fun fact, it actually cost them more to use the plexiglass crystal because they had to find a specialty manufacturer to do it and still have the water resistance that they wanted. They said that it would have actually been cheaper if they used sapphire, but they wanted the vintage crystal.

@@BobbyLegs yeah I totally get it. Personally I prefer the sapphire, I'd just be too anxious gouging the crystal. On a vostok, whatever. But this watch is too beautiful for that. But different strokes

I cannot wait to experience this beauty on the tour. Well take good care of it for ya. Definitely going to film in while it's here. So kind of you to do a tour of it.

The back reflects the higher end watches such as my Rolex Sub where the backs are clean.

I agree. I do wish it was polished though.

Lauren and Lorenzo say that a clear caseback is an ornament feature that doesn't fit their philosophy of producing watches that are rugged utilitarian tools + you have a space for personalized engraving. For me personally it's also a con I would prefer a clear caseback to see that beautiful and complicated movement. Or would be great if they provided two options and let people decide. Otherwise it's a great watch.

A clear caseback would raise the profile of the watch by at least .5mm, and increase the cost a bit. There are tradeoffs here. Their design intention is transparent. Their casebacks are minimalist.

Leo, one can only assume that their watches as assembled in China. They clearly state that they are designed in house in New York.
