Merry Christmas to all my Friends! Here is my new speed up watercolor demonstration. I am painting a streetscape in a loose style with two gentlemen and a beautiful street lamp in focal area. This is a sunny winter day full of haze and low-sun glow. The reference photo is black and white. In full demonstration on Patreon I am explaining how to turn a black and white photo (your tonal value reference) into full colour painting. Also, I go into full detail of the sketch process, perspective, proportios, how to paint sky, how to paint background and how to aproach a clourful scene. Also, this scene is a good subject to practice painting in layers (light tonal values first wash, middle tonal values and darks wet on dry as a second wash) and also connecting all the middle value shapes in one.
