Great painting, love the shadows!🤗
I served my apprenticeship as a Draughtsman in John Brown’s Shipyard so I have an affinity to ships. Over the years I have dabbled a bit in art so when you dropped that dark colour around the hull, I thought, she is very brave. Love it regards Charlie
The “don’t” painting is soooo me 😂 Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge. I can clearly see what I do wrong!
Annoying music!
I’m very sorry. I didn’t understand what brand of brush you said you were using. Could you please reiterate. I really appreciate your demo. First time viewer.
So in this video you recommend using alternative colours so it doesnt look like the original. How do I work out which colours to use?
Perfect
Excellent! :-)
❤
Thank you Nina, for another great demo. Truly inspiring.
I'm saving this for a rainy day. Today might just be that day.

Beautiful, soft edges around and through the trees to capture the blazing glow of the setting sun! And a subtle but effective choice to add that light warming red glaze at the very end. 😍Well done, Nina!
great
So nice and perfekt 😮😊
Great View like the somber feeling!
I can't write how well I am feeling after this incredible lady made this demonstration. You are very special, pure art!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy to hear this! Thank you
Wow! you are a truly great artist, thanks for the video
Loved your work, will definitely try painting this :) Thanks for sharing it!!
❤
Wonderful Nina. Thank so much!
Thank you!
Thanks for this excellent excellent video, Nina. Great explanations on the purpose each color serves and how you mix them. The first time you said 'buff' with your lovely accent it sounded like you said 'barf' and I thought, "Hmmm, does Daniel Smith have a new pigment I'm not familiar with?" 😁😂
Haha ☺️, oh all these names! You must be an expert on DS! They have such a great variety.
I just love the way your brush kisses the page… such instinct and control.
Thank you!
Thank you Nina....I. love this kind of tutorial.
I'm so glad! Thank you!
Great demo Nina. It looks like you started the painting with the Escoda Aquario mop brush, is it the size 16?
I think it's #18
Nina excellent depth with far away faded details, I wish u can crop little foreground ! Best wishes for next ..!!
Thank you Mukund, finding a right place for horizon line is always a challenge, but if I don't try I never know, right 😉

I tried this...and I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to paint scenes like this...as a newer artist I am looking at what has happened from following your steps and crying(in a good way 😂). I was saying last night "someday I want to paint like this" and I had no idea the day would be tomorrow ❤. Mind you, yours is WAY BETTER but I still cannot believe what I learned from you. Thankyou SO much ❤❤❤
Thank you Katherine! I'm so glad to hear this!
Wow Nina, once again I am delighted with your art. I admire the lightness and confidence of the brush stroke, the choice of colors and the expression. Congratulations!!!👌
Beautiful, love the atmosphere!🤗
Great tuition and a beautiful piece of work!
Que opinas de la técnica de Joseph Kubrick?
Fantastic! You have really very soft hands and strocks. I try to copy your paintings. But they are far off ..... Great 😃
So inspiring
Thank you
❤
It should be possible to make gouache on your own using a pigment, gum arabis (binder), honey and calcium carbonate (filler). I wanted to try it. But unfortunately, I don't get the pigments in small quantities in my country ! As an alternative, I am thinking of using water colour paint to make gouache ! The main difference between watercolor and gouache is the use of filler ! So, I want to try mixing a little calcium carbonate with watercolor paint and try it!
Love this
❤still very nice,love your combine wet & dry brush,thanks.❤❤❤
Very nice cityscape. So helpful to see you as you paint this. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for letting me know! I was always thinking it's too distracting and tried to focus the camera viewpoint on paper. This is a 1/2 sheet portrait orientation, I had to zoom it out a bit :)
Spectacular with few colors 🍀thank you.
Wahnsinn 😮😊👏
This is too fast to learn anything
Amaaaaazing.
Beyond stunning. Could watch a million times.
V.nicely captured the moments ✨️
Thank you Mukund!
