Hi Linda - I live in a small mountain community. To the west 50 miles to the beach and to the east 20 miles to the desert. God was in the details of me buying this cabin. I feel blessed. I am with you about driving in traffic, living near kids and living in a rural area. I have 1/2 acre and it's enough to keep up for me. I hope you can find what you are looking for. If you find a town you like, look around at the land for sale there. You have to be happy where your investing. Safe Travels!😊

I can agree that a half acre is enough lawn and upkeep, I have an acre and want to downsize it next year, with fencing, mulch, gravel, less to mow, lol

Linda, I understand all the reasons that you have for wanting to be in the country, because I feel the same way. I am also 65 years old and I also don't like traffic and lots of driving. I am considering getting into a small community instead of being out on my own in a remote area because what would happen if I couldn't drive anymore? I would have no freedom whatsoever, and the cost of having someone come and pick you up and drive you places would be very expensive. If I was in a community there would be ride-sharing and buddying up with friends to get to necessary stores and doctors. If I were on my own out there I might have to move again and at my age I would rather not have to do that.

I don’t think you should give the state, there are just too many not so stable people in this world. Sounds like you are giving all the right thought into your next landing zone. I know when we bought our home we waited for the area, community, and house to speak to us and meet our criteria. Will be patiently awaiting the next part of your journey 😊

I was 65 when I started tent camping that turned into car camping because of lightning and wind storms. lol I live in a condo in Utah and now that Im 71 I totally enjoy being home, taking care of my small yard, my birds and my betta fish. A few nights away to southern Utah when it gets cold or a few days north when its hot is all I need. The beach is kinda far away but my daughter lives within walking distance in South Carolina to the beach if I really want to go to the beach and Im two days away from the beautiful west coast beaches but I love my mountains. Lots of great day trips.❤

I think I am always very safe and take every safety precaution. Revealing just the state would not be a big deal….but nothing beyond that. If you felt you would film more specifics about your area etc. then I would not reveal the state. I was following your journey last time so excited to see what is next for you!

I really enjoyed this video and your others as well. This one did put in perspective things I should be thinking about when looking for a place to live. Financially I can't just go out and find a place so in my mind I thought I would love to have options but I don't until the Lord reminded me with Him all things are possible. You reminded me of this as well. Pretty much every thing on your list matched mine. I am fortunate indeed to already be living near water. I am on a journey as well and you for sure are someone that could understand it. I have written about it, it isn't finished yet of course. You are so busy in life atm. I would however share it with you. I think there are a lot of ppl in the world who are so busy running to fulfill their worldly desires that they don't even know or understand the freedom to live and go after what is real. Thank you for sharing. Just remember in making your videos you can't please everyone. For most of us watching we just enjoy your posts because we enjoy you as a person and love that you share your life and thoughts with us.

Hi Linda, I’m 74 now. Driving has always been enjoyable for me but I’m aware, like you, that I may become limited in where I am comfortable driving and safe, as well. I like your frequent references to Psalm 37:4 in this video!!! I’m recently reflecting on and praying about this verse! What I’m wondering is, if I delight myself in the Lord, and He gives me the desires of my heart, would that not mean He will give me a more robust prayer life, even more of the peace that passes understanding, and a stronger than ever sense of His presence. And, would that be fulfillment of those heart desires? Just something I keep reflecting on more and more these days. Grace and Peace to you!

I’m a realtor in Missouri. I hear what you are saying about wanting to be near the beach. Have you considered purchasing a park model in a RV park. Some parks have a great community. I have friends that have one in Donna TX (south TX) and another couple I am friends with that are missionaries living in an Rv park and working the park for income. Seems it would fit right in with the tiny home living and community. Best wishes! You are an inspiration!

Ok, I live in So. Louisiana. Walking the beach is one of my very favorite things to do! Hope you don't wind up too far away so we can go walk!!

There is something very healing being around water and of course the beach. Can't wait to see how god answers your prayers. The word does say he will give us the desires of our ❤

As much as I'm curious about where you are, I think you should keep your location private to maintain your safety.

God will let you know whether or not to disclose your location. You will feel at peace with it. You’re not one to live in fear, but you still need to be cautious.

I am 72 and I don't like traffic either. I have lived in a small town almost 31 years. When I first moved here traffic was not a problem. Now it is terrible and more homes and apartments are being built all around here. I am seriously considering selling my place. I am praying for God's will for me and my family. My daughter and two of my grandchildren live with me. So many things to consider. Linda, I love your hair cut. Very pretty. Thank you Linda for sharing all of your "lists" with us. You give me lots of things to consider that I never thought of. If you will be living in a place that is not close to your family or neighbors who can be there if you need them and you can trust, I would not reveal where you live.

My number one would be to make sure I had access to my land. That I never had to use a privately owned road to get to my property.

I live at the top of the mountains in Fawnskin Ca. It's a small town but across the lake is Big Bear so I have both.

Hi Linda, You have a good strategy for finding your landing place that you will own. When I have looked for land it has always been about as they say.....location location location. It is the deal breaker or maker for how you want to use the land and for resale value. Property is sold off market regularly here. There are good opportunities for buyers who are willing to develop the property. Zoning is a critical qualifier as is accessibility to services. This becomes more essential as we address age related changes. Think low maintenance and comfort qualifiers. Follow your Lords leading.

I don’t like driving anymore and the reason is the amount of cars on the road is about 5 times more than it was 20 years ago and also the speed the drivers now go and too many wreckless drivers.

Why dont you just say about the land P,ease dont tell people to subscribe if they want to they will

I follow nomadic introvert on Facebook. We know she is from Michigan. She left there and always told where she was traveling to. I don’t think she indicated that there was ever a problem.

I wouldn’t reveal the state where you found land in. I would just reveal if you found land east or the west of the Mississippi and whether it is north or south of the Mason and Dixon line. That way you don’t have to worry if someone wants to find you, until you feel comfortable enough to reveal the exact state you found land in.

Your hair looks fabulous! I think it is so flattering for you. I would not disclose the state you are in. Unfortunately l don’t think KZread is a very safe place to disclose any personal information at this point, even just the name of the state you are located in. 😊

Tennessee prices of land is outrageous right now.

Hi Linda, I’m commenting all the way from Australia and there are possibly things I don’t understand about your situation. Are you being stalked Online? Have a threatening ex partner? Or maybe a completely different reason? Whatever the reason is, I do not think you should give away your location. Your new land maybe your forever home, and you don’t want anything to threaten your sense of happiness and security so being anonymous would be the way to go I would think. So stay private. Only tell what you feel comfortable with saying.

Please, do NOT reveal the State you are in, under any circumstances Linda. Your safety and security is of paramount importance. The days are dark and dangerous and while we have our Lord Jesus to protect us, keep in mind, He wants us to be shrewd as snakes while remaining harmless as a dove. Those who are interested in buying land need to go out and do their own legwork. Please continue to be wise and cautious as you've been to-date. Yes Linda I really do know what you mean about driving now and I am 66. I used to LOVE driving long distances but the older I get and the crazier people dr e nowadays and the adding of more lanes to the roads it is a bit much for the old gurl. I think you are going to find land in Florida .

I moved to Tennessee big mistake TVA controls power water the taxes were so high on furniture, appliances, technicali came back to South Carolina mainly because of insurance Tenn care wars nightmare please at least look at Tenn care health insurance TVA before you invest a penny fyi

I dont know how you view me as a subscriber, l only make the occasional comment. As for revealing the state, my vote is no. Too many sophisticated hackers that might be able to pinpoint your exact location. I seriously doubt there are municipal stalkers watching your channel, but it only takes one bad apple. God Bless!

You're not that far into this video so you may actually answer some of my questions but I definitely would love to know what state you're looking at. The reason I would want that information, is to try to understand your reasoning, cuz that will help me decide if it would be a state that would be good for me to look at. I want to sell my condo in Florida, and I want to be in a state that but has no state income taxes, do I might consider a different state if the overall cost of living is manageable. It seems a lot of Nomads that I know of that have bought land bought it in Arizona. They do have a state tax, but they seem to have a lot more open zoning laws allowing for you to use your land anyway you want to. I like the idea of actually having plumbing and power, but I also like the option of going completely off-grid if needed for a while before putting something permanent on the land. My original thought is that I would hope I can live in my van or RV as I travel and save money. Buy the land when I have the money for that, which I might have even when I leave right from Florida. But then I will have to save money for a few more years to put a tiny house on the land. So definitely would be interested in your process including how you chose your state.
