I will be unhurried by making sure I'm not always looking for something "to do". By this I mean taking the extra time I might have to do hw, or binge watching. Instead I should be concerning myself with my relationship with God instead. As I continue to seek Him, the more I can live my days without feeling hurried, stressed, and worried.

I will be unhurried by taking my time to find a profession. As a man, it's imperative that I get a good job and find what I'm good at. As a 22 year old young adult I'm trying to rush things and trying to catch up with society. I'm going to slow down now❤ No rush, tomorrow will take care of itself✝️

This is so timely! I'm in a season of my life where I don't know where I'm gonna be or where money is gonna come from in the next few months, but I'm trying not to rush to a solution that's not in God’s plan. This is so true. Me and my wife where in a similar situation. I’m working and she’s not rite now and just my salary rite now will not cover all our bills. My wife left her job chuz God told her too and that it was okay to leave. About a month later like the other day. Her retirement money just came in almost $3,000. I can be honest and say I didn’t know where the money was gonna come for rent and things we need. Faith in Jesus is the key even when it doesn’t look like it’s gonna work out. If God have you a clear direction on whatever He’s gonna come through for sure ❤❤❤

Same like God said seek Him first in all His righteousness and all these things will be added to you! But people don’t actually live by that and breaking out of those generational bonds that pulls us away from Gods ordained purpose. He know my needs so I’ll let Him provide that as I seek Him everyday. Also people love to say faith without works is dead but only a baby believer will look at it in physical merits or works. Walking with God and believing in Him IS WORK!😂 Like keeping hope is work, being obedient in all the things He tells you is work, letting God do the inner healing in us🙌🏾. So many people walk around unhealed and in a hurry beyond’s Gods time. I want Gods timing because Hes intentional! Every step I take I’m getting closer and closer everyday❤. Finding peace in yourself and living in Jesus’s character is TRUE PEACE.🛐🌅🌸

I lived the hurried Christian life. I didn’t realize it. I thought over working myself for Jesus was pleasing to Him. In. October 2021 I got very sick with Delta. It has left me incapable of working a job. My life came to a stand still. It was then that I realized that it is not pleasing to God to be so hurried and overwhelmed. There is no scripture that says “ run thyself ragged for the glory of God.” BUT instead, it says “ lay down in green pastures… come unto me all ye who are weary…. I will give you REST.” Etc…. I now understand the will of God in the idea of the “ unhurried life.” Thank you for this message Alex. God bless

I love the book of Ecclesiastes for this very reason. It talks about how life things of this life are vanity and uncontrollable and it’s encouraged me to not be fearful of this and anxious. Not to hurry through seasons of life, but rather see the beauty in impermanence. Live fully in the gift that is the present and give thanks to God in all things/seasons. Don’t cling to things that aren’t guaranteed to last forever, don’t dwell in the past or hurry to the future but rather “eat and drink and be joyful in all toil - this is God’s gift to man”

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD, and it feels like my default state is “hurry”. Moving fast, thinking fast, never slowing down. I’m trying to learn how to slow down. I heard a quote that said “love is incompatible with hurry”. That makes me try to be aware when I’m moving too fast in life. Also the verse that says “love is *patient* love is kind…” As a side note I love how you’re experimenting with cinematography more in your videos. Some really nice composition and creative shots here, keep it up brother. 🙏

Serious question. I am a mom of 6 (ages 9,7,5,2,1, 4 weeks) and it’s just my husband and I. Our family live in Ohio and we are deep in Texas hill country, we’ve been surviving on our own if you will for the entirety of our 13 year marriage, and often it’s just been me (he just got out of the military - many deployments). I’m burnt out. I love being their mom. They are amazing and it’s such a blessing to raise them! But I find I can’t keep up… and I also find I can’t stop trying to keep up or everything implodes. Everyday His mercies are new and yet I find myself fumbling… constantly. I pray daily with all of my heart but as much as I desire to be a calm mother, I am a fast paced, intense, & fire filled mom. I feel like I’m failing the very kiddos that the Lord entrusted me with… knowing they’re His, I want them to be well taken care of, knowing His word… not remembering a flustered mom. I’m asking for prayer. Prayer that I can slow down, prayer that I won’t be a loud mom, prayer that I can turn off auto pilot from years of raising them without help or a single day off (wait, had one in 2020 from an ER trip - panic attack, overnight stay)… I’ve come a long with by His grace but I struggle so deeply. Our church does not have older women to help me, and I so desperately seek wisdom from those who have walked before me. Please pray for me. That I can truly rest in Him, do my best, and let go of what I can’t do. And for my children that they know Jesus despite me.

So true, I heard people say that we are running out of time (which is true), but some people take that message as a sign to hurry to get in the right place for Heaven, rather than focusing on what is more important as a goal, which is a relationship with God. Some people also rush by typing 'Amen' in comment sections so that they can get "rich and famous", and yet they say they are christians with no desirable relationship with God, but rather desire shortcuts and use God to get what they want. I used to tell God I want to feel his hand wipe my tears, have more visions, etc. but I never really cared for the fact that a relationship with God is the way to find his most physical presence.

Knowing my needs are considered more so than my wants - yet even my wants and desires of my heart (aside from sin) are considered. I dont have to be in a rush. Ive been wanting so badly to be married and it isnt okay. Its kind of a dangerous place to be in because if im not careful i grow bitter, impateint, dont let God work in me, and start seeking my own way like Abraham and Sarah did. Please pray for me. I cant do it on my own.

@Tbone idk man. Jesus was historically proven to be here, to do the things He did and say the things He said. He was a historical figure that not only made claims to be God but also was missing in His tomb and was seen for weeks on end after His supposed death. The bibles got a lot more evidence and original manuscripts than things like the works of Aristotle, Alexander the great, and other various works but we accept that no problem and even accept it as fact because the worldview of the works of Aristotle and the history of Alexander the Great doesn't rustle feathers four how people live and tell them they'll be held accountable for their lives. Cmon man. Jesus is real. God is real. Believe and repent m8. There's no way into heaven but through Christ and I'd rather you not perish because you couldn't see that His ways are infinitely better than yours or mine.

The real godly attitude is joy, trust in Him and absolute confidence that God will fix our problems. Complete selflessness because we know God has infinite gifts for everyone. I so desperately needed this. An "opportunity" came up for me recently -one that God knows is very dear to my heart-and yet from the beginning it's felt like something's different... something's just below the surface...lurking. The feeling surrounding this "opportunity" (although I wanted to feel excited and immediately say yes) felt so different, and I've simply been waiting on it, trying to understand this curious feeling. It just felt like I needed to wait and pray. I've been praying on it, and your video came up-and it's exactly as you've described! If I took the "opportunity", it truly could morph into something much stickier than I could handle, and it would be to fall into my own independence and reliance on myself...for my own selfishness, and none of it would glorify God. But by waiting, I know I'm trusting Him to provide and care for me, and by doing that, our bond will strengthen and that will give glory where it's rightfully due...thank you so much for helping me better understand and hear God's will for me. This video was an absolute Godsend. May God bless you and keep you both!💕

Good word Alex, it's tough, opportunities are here one day that aren't the next - I definitely struggle with what you're preaching on. Because we also don't want to be on the other side of things and never stepping out in faith because we haven't discerned if God is saying yes or no. Sometimes it's clear and sometimes it isn't but either way he is with us and teaching us, the little children we are.

Teens and early 20s I fell into the trap of always doing it all. But now, I enjoy just reading a book in a park, walking and talking with God. Heading His voice in the stillness. My Example: Currently, I work at my job and I go to school. I have a training program coming up that will be paid by my job that's going to amplify my experience in my studies. Unfortunately, in a rushful attempt to see myself making above the minimum at my job, I also signed up to earn a safety certification. The training and the certification certainly are not bad in themselves, but loading up my schedule, especially when my certification has a hardstop ( or "no later than") date forces me to minimize time away from studies, thereby, my time away with God. I could have saved the certification until after graduation (or at least after my training program finished). Without careful planning and peace, my summer will be hectic. I haven't even started either the training or certification yet, but with everything already going on, all this sometimes makes me wish I had actually given myself a few weeks to actually pray and seek the Lord about it. I was too compulsive when I thought it would not hurt to add more to myself right now. TLDR; Rushing tires me, it causes my to look to myself for my ability to handle things, and I end up losing out on enjoying God's presence, which is what He wants for my life and for the life of Christ to be made alive in me.

Perfect timing 🥲 lately I have felt extremely on edge because my grandma is 97, declining, but lives so far away from me. I have been trying so hard to find a way to move close to where she is, but it’s so expensive, I don’t know anybody else down there, nobody else wants to move with me, etc. And I have just been so paranoid, fearing that she’ll be gone before I can get down there. But I need to relax, trust in Gods plan for me, and not give into fretting all the time as I have been. Thanks for the video. I hope I can see her soon but I also need to just calm down and stop trying to force something that doesn’t appear to be in gods plan for me for the time being.

Maybe this will help, I know someone who is old and I always think about their olden age and what will happen to them once their gone and how I would feel, reminding myself about Jesus on the cross and how he defeated sin and rose from the dead just meant to me that he is in charge of the bottom and the heaven. So neither life nor death can separate us from the love of Jesus. 1) maybe spend sometimes phone calls, or zoom? 2) another tip is to spend more time in prayer, very quietly so you allow yourself to have fully understand God's love. That way when the time comes your ready to face what is ahead of your journey. Fully immerse yourself in prayer, getting yourself ready head on Recently, The second one truly helps me. Read Psalm 23, read it slowly

amen brother. I needed to hear this word, it came at the right time. I met someone that on paper is the most wonderful person, but I know the reality of the situation. it wouldn't be a relationship that glorifies God. its a hard truth for me to digest right now, but I'm trusting Jesus on this one. the right person will come

I have always been a fast walker. Even when not having any where to be. Recently I started having severe leg pains. Most people just say it's age and all that. I agree mostly, but I slowed my pace. I now walk upright and calmly. I have to remind myself not to rush. Point being I recalled English Standard Version Even though I WALK through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. I realized I need to slow down listen and pay attention to people. I stopped wearing my earphones as much. I chose to stop being distracted from God. I hope everyone is blessed and God finds them and changes their lives for his will.

This video help reassure my decision about this last semester of college (as a freshman).I attended Liberty Online University and I am now a half-time student. I experienced anxiety because it felt like I couldn’t keep up with the pace of school work, I lost touch with the “outside” world, and living itself felt like a chore. No more….I want to slow down and build my foundation on God! 😔🙌 Not to rush to my own conclusions, but to be in-tuned with His plans and next steps. ❤praise.. have a blessed day fam!☺️😇
