In this film, #gerdleonhard sets forth that we should embrace Artificial Intelligence and harness its positive potentials while at the same time we must urgently consider and address its negative side-effects and unintended externalities. We must use AI as a powerful tool but not let it become a purpose on its own. Who do you mean by 'our'? Do you include the CCP, who would be a necessary ally, or do you only consider the USA and it's allies? The gulf between the value systems between the CCP and us makes working together to pause AI development almost impossible. It's a competition at the moment sadly

I have to confess, my brain actually works. AI is not intelligent, is just bunch of code.
Very interesting but long winded. We live in a world with too many inputs. It's not fair to have to watch videos that are two or three times longer than required

Very nice video but it doesn’t seem like humanity can possibly ‘contain’ an intelligence that’s exponentially more intelligent than us. But, in all fairness…..I am on anti depressants
