4:20 Standing in my utility room with my doornopen, drinking coffee and watching the sun dance on the creek and through the leaves... Then that creepy voice, and it freaked out a heron on the bank and the squawky/choking sound it made went perfectly with the tone of his voice and gave me the creepiest feeling ever. Cheers!

Same blue heron is back this morning, calling him Long Legs now, well, because he has long legs and sounds creepy!

Whoever did the marketing for this movie deserves a raise!!!!! Honestly the trailers randomly appeared on my KZread feed I was a bit scared to click at first because even the thumbnail looks creepy 😬 every time I watch the trailers I get this immense feeling of dread I'm happy it's gotten good reviews all way around even scored 100% on rotten tomatoes I want to see it but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified lol

This happened to me but I was at the movie theater by myself waiting for civil war to start and they played a bunch of those trailers, I didn't know what it was but it was creepy as fuck and I was the only one in the theater it was wild 😅

Looking forward to seeing this movie. Oz Perkins Mother Berry Berenson was victim of the 9/11 attacks she was on flight 11 first plane that hit The World Trade Center. I havent seen any of her movies. Cat People 1982 remake I heard it was good god rest her soul. Oz Father Anthony Perkins hes amazing actor.

I always heard and saw the title "the blackcoats daughter" and always just skipped over it..I didn't assume it was a horror movie for whatever reason. Next time I notice it I'll check it out.

Hereditary was super profound for me because It just stuck with me and felt like something so new and different. Thats what got me on the Ari Astor and A24 fan club. I wonder if this is going to do the same!

I didn't understand Hereditary at first until I did a little research and discovered who King Paimon was in the context of the Ars Goetia or the Lesser Keys of Solomon. The movie became scary to me after learning the writer used one of the 72 demons of Hell and the second most powerful king no less as the evil deity in the movie. That being said I don't want anything to do with knowing anything about those occult books ever again.

That fuckin movie still haunts me to this day…I’ve been chasin a horror high like hereditary since and nothin has came close. The only honorable mentions would be Midsommar, It follows and that’s probably about it. But hopefully this lives up to the expectations!

@@DannyOunces Hereditary was the epitome of paralyzing dread for me. It made me have such a distinctive feeling. I've watched movies with moments like that in them, but Hereditary was the first to keep that intensity the entire film. As far as distinctive feelings...I watched "Serbian Film" once. Definitely not a "horror". But it actually made me physically ill. That was quite a shocking reaction...that a film could be so disgustingly depraved that I almost puked. I've never had a film do that to me before. I guess it just means I'm a normal ethically based person because that crap was just disgusting. If you want shock factor, that film will offend the senses. 🤢

How have you seen this already? I didn’t think press or critics have had screenings yet, and I didn’t think it even hit the festival circuit.

I’m a member of the Dutch press. They had a press-screening here on June 18th and there’s one again this Wednesday. I don’t know about other countries though.

I won't watch any more media on this film before I see it. I got all I needed here. Unnerving, introspective lead MC, Nicholas Cage is bugnuts, Exorcist 3 (!!!) vibes? Okay, I'm actually more hyped than I was before. I want the slowest burn, the most dread, nothing more.

How gory is the film, I really want to see it but I have a very low capacity for gore before I feel sick

Late Night with the Devil was hyped up like this, and that film was a disappointment. It had an uneven tone, some really terrible performances, and underwhelming "scares". Not to mention a montage for the first 7 minutes that spoiled everything about where the story was going. I don't know what to believe about LONGLEGS. I hope it's great, but the wound from LNwtD is still fresh.
