@@Music-vr7sz That's certainly an opinion. I liked her, a lot.
I think the movie runs into a juxtaposition problem. It feels very grounded in reality and is shot in a way that feels realistic and not dreamlike or supernatural. And then it switches up and goes with an alternate route, only for that to confuse the audience by ignoring questions and creating plotholes.
@RuralJuror420

I mean it was incredibly blatant from the first 10ish minutes that the black FBI agent was going to murder his own family. Called it the moment he brought her to his house and the little girl was like “do you want to come to my birthday party?” RIGHT AFTER THEY TALKED ABOUT IT HAPPENING WITH FAMILIES OF LITTLE GIRLS WITH BIRTHDAYS ON THE 14th! 😂
@Spiqaro
15 күн бұрын
@@RuralJuror420 The fact that neither of them put 2 and 2 together on that, when they're the LEAD INVESTIGATORS was appalling. There were quite a few issues that the director seemingly ignored that don't add up or aren't explained at all: 1. How did they know to find Longlegs at that bus stop? It felt so anti-climatic that they just knew where he was (and WHY was he at a bus stop, he has a car). 2. If you just happen to know where he is at the bus stop, chances are, you were following or tailing him to get his whereabouts. Which means they should've known that he was living in her mother's basement. 3. If I'm an FBI agent, and the person I'm investigating shows up at my home and gains entry to leave me a birthday card, there's no chance in hell that I wouldn't have been on the phone to get cops and the FBI there to immediately swarm the area to catch the guy. 4. That psych ward didn't have cameras? They couldn't look at footage and see who it was that had visited that girl? And wouldn't the orderlies have noticed a distinctively weird looking guy showing up to visit someone who's family had been involved in murder suicide (it's not like she was getting other visitors, she was an unresponsive vegetable up until then). There are other issues, but these are the ones that no one seems to address.
As someone who's job revolves around movies, this is a welcome original script. Cinematography, sound design, set design, editing and acting was great. I loved it. I see people talking negatively and I assume those are Marvel fans or people that love movie series that are all the same. Despicable Me 4 is waiting for ya'll

@@Music-vr7sz lol, not true. In fact it was quite specifically explained. She is getting psychic impulses all throughout the film, Everytime she hears a weird noise and gets all freaked out, she's having a psychic moment. It is literally and explicitly stated towards the end, when her mom is revealing everything, she specifically says it was the demon's guidance and influence that was making her seem psychic. They say "He was showing you where to look and what to see, as well as what NOT to see." Meaning, what we see of her that looks like psychic abilities is actually the guidance of the demon, leading her all along the way to facilitate the demon's release and play her part in the unfolding pagan-psychodrama/ ritual.

@@Oliver_Hallowee ok, since you want to be obnoxious. No, it's not explained at all. That line is the only one that ever addresses it. There's no explanation about the events through the film.
