Longest Hippie Jump to Manual Body Varial Out (20k cm) + Q&A Answers

The longest hippie jump manual body varial out you’ve probably ever seen. On this channel, when we hit a multiple of 10k subscribers, we manual the number in centimeters. Today’s manual clocked in at 23.7k cm (which is 237 meters = 777 feet), with an average speed of 9.69 km/h = 6.02 mi/h. Thank you all for 20k subscribers! I predict that I’ll be able to continue this tradition for as long as this channel keeps growing, but I won’t complain if I’m proven wrong ;)
I also gave my answers to the Q&A questions you guys asked me -- thank you again to those who left questions in comments!

Two-part questions that I didn’t answer in the video:
“What would you recommend for people to stay consistent with practice?”
Use skating as transportation, and you’ll have more opportunities to practice tricks. When I was in college, I skated to every one of my classes. On the way, I’d do a trick or two, and I’d often take a few minutes to practice tricks before going home for the day. Practicing for a short amount of time, nearly every day, helped me retain the muscle memory for tricks. Also, don’t force yourself to practice if you don’t want to! Skate for fun, whenever you feel like it :)
“What would your tips be on how to motivate yourself skating alone?”
Watch a bunch of skate videos that hype you up before you skate; use them as inspiration you to try new tricks. Also, having somewhere to put your footage (e.g. a KZread channel or a blog), or someone to send footage to (e.g. a friend or family) can be really motivating; when I was first starting, I was always so proud to show my footage to my friends and family (even if they didn’t skate), which added another layer of excitement to landing new tricks.

i am a total amateur who started skating a year ago, i quitt after some months because a friend of mine who was teaching me how to skate just kept telling me that all the tricks that were difficult to me, he nailed them in a couple of days or so, those comments just made me felt like i just didn’t had what it takes to skate decently, but two months ago i decided to give it another try cuz i still remember that besides feeling frustated because of my friend comments, i always enjoyed skating, so this time i am learning by myself and watching your videos totally comfort my soul and encouraje me to keep trying my best everytime thnx for that, bro c: ~🇲🇽

I spotted the Milpitas skatepark, nice to see you around the bay! definitely agree on your comment about doing the tricks you want to do and not get caught up in what other people would want to see. There’s a weird stigma around “poser” skaters or beginner skaters who don’t know “legit” tricks and honestly, I feel like if you’re out there having fun and you’re comfortable on your board, that alone makes you a skater in my eyes.

for the mean while ill give you some quick tips 1. focus, dont think about anything except the manual 2. use ur back arm to balance the manual by rotating in a circular motion 3. use your front arm to level the manual by holding front arm in front of you parallel to the skateboard. 4. keep practicing and try to always beat your record 5. learn how to ride your skateboard going very fast
