i've liked etnies for 30 years, these look fine. but there's no chance there is enough of a difference in materials/workmanship to justify walmart being able to sell these for $30 at a profit, but all other etnies are $70-$120. i think it's less that these are cheaply made and more that skate brands are gouging their customer base. i usually wait until they go on clearance anyway. my last 3 pairs of etnies were $75 total on sale

They are cheap in the rubber, the some gets destroyed fast I have those names in China etnies and the good made in Vietnam etnies and I can tell you there's a lot of differences

@@K_spawn from a glance i could see the tread/sole depth seemed a bit thinner, which makes sense if they are just meant to be an inexpensive casual shoe. they don't have them in walmart around me so i haven't seen them in person.

Weird closeness with the camera. I had to go ahead and kiss the screen to break the awkward tension. Nice find with the Etnies!

Got a pair today qas absolutely shocked to see them at Wal-Mart for only 30 bucks! Im 34 and dont skate much anymore but back in the day its all i did and etnies where my favorite brand..but we didn't have money so we didnt get etnies for xmas lol hell speaking of Wal-Mart i remember begging my mom for a spitfire hoodie in 7th grade and on xmas i tore open the package i knew it was in and instead of spitfire it was a Wal-Mart brand called flameboy lmao i had to pretend to be excited about it cause i felt bad AND i wore that thing with pride too fuck it!!

We mainly work with eastern board supply but we're looking into a couple other distributors

Working on better audio will make such a huge difference. Static was just about as loud as your voice.

Yes I am working on that. I'm trying to find an affordable mic and recorder that works for everything from filming lines to things like this. I've slowly been getting better equipment. Thanks for the feedback tho. I'll be for sure working on it

i admire your tenacity but the sound was very low for some reason, don't mistake cheapness for quality though, I say this cause i've skated just about every brand in my 25 year career.

Since they are sold at Walmart, shouldnt be hard to sponsor yourself. Cant beat free Etnies.
