No one explains long hair layered haircuts better than you. I have watched a millionnnnn on KZread, and everything you do and say is toned town for us that are learning and just graduated beauty school. Thank you.
I'm a fairly new hairstylist (over 1 year licensed) and every time I want to refresh my layered haircut memory, I come to re-watch your video. I've found that its straight to the point and that's the way I learn. Thanks, Jaime
Giiirl i did this haircut on my sister in law and her hair looks gorgeous.😍 She said everyone at work was complimenting her and asking where she had it cut. You are so inspiring and thank you for sharing your secrets with us.
I love how detailed you are with your haircuts! It’s awesome that you make a point to add little pieces that come out of the ponytail.
Hi. I realize this is an older video but I just had to thank you for such a comprehensive, easy to follow tutorial. I lost my hair a couple years ago and I alternate between going all natural and wearing wigs. Because wigs can be really expensive I normally purchase longer ones so I can trim them as the ends begin to frizz in order to extend their lifespan. Because I have no formal training in cutting hair I’ve searched endlessly for videos (like yours) that are detailed, thorough and, most importantly to me, applicable and enjoyable to watch. Admittedly during this search I’ve ruined a few really nice wigs along the way so thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to post this (and saving me money in the process!)
I've been doing hair for 40 years,- you're a great educator!!!♥️

I absolutely love this video! Due to Covid, I just did the haircut on myself and my hair has never fallen this nicely. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful and easy to follow tutorial!
Hi Jamie! I love this video and would love more videos like this! I am sort of fresh out of beauty school and eager to see more simple straight forward videos!! I would love to see a “beauty school” series to go back to the basics we so easily forget and need to revert back to! Thanks for being so AWESOME! ❤️
Just cut my daughters hair in layers for the first time. Used your tutorial! She loves it and it looks good! Thank you!
I loved this video ! I'm starting school in a couple weeks and this is definitely giving me a confidence booster!! please keep doing hair cuts! I've heard my schooling is very "old school" so to be able to have these videos to watch is a god send!!!! thank you so much !
Nice work Jamie, and I love that you don’t take too long explaining your cutting technique, but work while you do it. Fun stuff! Cheers!
Thank you for this. I no longer work in a salon, and haven't been behind the chair in years. I just cut long layers into my daughter's hair and this refresher was perfect. I found your language to be perfect and easy to follow. My daughter's hair came out great.
This video is amazing. You are so detailed and clear at explaining. Thank you for helping us individuals that gave up hope on the salon trips and decided to take matters into our own hands
Such an amazing way to cut easy long layers !, I have been cutting hair for...let’s say....many years...but the way you just did this cut was taught me something entirely new and extremely easy. My granddaughter wants this same haircut !! Doing it this afternoon !! Thank you so very much !!
Love this layer cut! I cant believe someone cuts layers like me! Great job!

These are exactly the type of layers I want. Now I just have to grow out my hair again. I always end up cutting my layers too short and I love how you find your guide on this cut first.
I love this tutorial! I have always struggled with long layered haircuts since I graduated from school but this video has helped me a lot. I have the second part of my interview for a hair salon job tomorrow, and I have to do a long layered haircut. Nervous, but excited to use your technique!
it looks fantastic! i loved how it looked before the curl, that layer is gorgeous great job
LOVE the simplistic approach! Can you do more tutorials on different long layering techniques? That'd be awesome 😁

I want my hair all straight, and my mom is gonna do it. I'm basicly just going to show you how you cut her perimeter - it's pretty much the same thing, yet it's the best tutorial out there. Thanks
I LOVE this haircut! My mom cut my hair at the beginning of quarantine in April after we watched your video. I loved it more than any haircut I’ve ever gotten! Unexpected surprise, I loved the way my hair laid in a ponytail too. Then, of course, I couldn’t find your video again and couldn’t recreate it. Well, we found it at last! And made sure to subscribe this time, so we don’t lose you again! Thank you for this video!
I love the cut and the beachy finish. Movement and interest was added very nicely. Looks very pretty.
Super helpful! Thank you So much ! Doing a haircut for a girl who hasn’t cut her hair for 3 years too! Can’t wait to try this out! Looks so beautiful

I’m working as a make up artist and hairstylist for over 10 years and I never liked doing long layered hair because I always had issues with visualising long layers and this makes it so easy!! Would love to see more long hair videos with this more simple technique! Thank you 😍
This is the perfect example of how to cut layers on long hair. It’s hard to find stylists that do this so I highly recommend trying it!!

You are a Very talented hairdresser! Her hair looks so great!!! 👏👍💜
You are fantastic! It's amazing to watch someone with God given talent just breeze through cuts and coloring :) My only suggestion would be to give us more time seeing your finished product. I like to appreciate all that hard work and really see how it looks on the client. What a talent!!

Thanks for sharing! This is one of the better long layered hair cuts I’ve found on KZread!🏆 Most are cutting way to much of the base corner off & causing a stringy mess at the ends. But you preserved the integrity of her length!
Love this technique! I'm definitely going to try it out! I myself am wanting this haircut except with bangs!
Jamie, I am a long time hairdresser and want to say that I love all your cutting techniques and highlighting tutorial. In this business we are always learning and I'm definitely going to use your techniques on my clients. Can't wait to do the babylights tomorrow on one of my customers. I will let you know how it comes out.

Super helpful thank you for sharing your skills
Just happened up this vid. First, Jaime is ADORABLE, that is, who can't adore her vibe and delivery. Second, I would be asleep in about 30 seconds having from what had to feel wildly relaxing to the model, having Jamie combing, handling, cutting, sectioning her hair and head. Stylists are to my head what gentle, nailed fingers are to a kitty's belly...
