Bit aggressive your driving. If you were "relatively used to it" and therefore knew it could happen, why did you purposely accelerate at some speed into a cyclist you saw was coming just to make a point? Be better.

Several years ago, I was sitting at the front upper deck of a bus, which literally crawled along the road. When I looked to see what was causing the slow movement of the bus… it was a rather ‘fit’ woman in a black Lycra suit riding a bike. The bus driver had ample opportunity to over take, but was evidently admiring the ‘view’‽:D

I'm the most hated person in the world, I'm a regular daily cyclist, an illegal electric bike bally rider, a car driver, a regular motorcyclist, an illegal street motorcycle trials rider (legal bike though), a white van man, a truck driver, a caravan/boat owner, a horse and buggy rider.... There's always someone who hates me when I'm on the road regardless of vehicle 😂 and I do a lot of hating and shouting too...the thing is we as human beings have a superiority complex and think we are above the next person weather it's because you have a faster bike or car and want to get away quick or have to be somewhere, have kids in the car , have to pick up kids, a million parcels to deliver, been on the road all day blah blah blah... We all have the same right to use the roads . Your just in motorcyclist mode right now but in a city, you want to be quick and be first away , swerve around the knobhead cars and taxis and buses in your way that are much slower. Your a biker! A free man! Want to hit the open road! ... Then hit the open road and not feckin London city centre and complain 😂🤦 . To somebody else you were the biker that cut them up going though a narrow exit, pulled away from the lights quick and made them jog across the road, wrong side of the road getting past cars then swerved in quick making them brake hard, pulled up next to them at the lights revving your Smokey noisy engine when their car window is open, roosting gravel at the car behind as you blast away.. I can imagine when you are in a car that vans and buses are the enemy because you are stuck behind them. Just try and be a bit more tolerant, everybody has a story , some just think theirs trumps others.👍

Personally I think at the very least they should have registration plates. things like light jumping could be enforced by CCTV so no need for the police to waste time with the rouge cyclists. Although they wouldn't see it that way it would be a benefit to the cyclist too in reducing cycle theft, its would be a lot harder for the thieves to sell on stolen cycles if they needed a reg document to go with the bike.

There's the oblivious ones, the ones who are commuting, or "training", or whatever, and then there's the couriers. I assume there are still cycle couriers. When I was couriering, we had a few on bikes, who were psychos. Pedestrian zones? Fine. Red lights? Don't exist. Wrong way down one way streets? Perfectly normal. if you are riding your ridiculously loud motorcycle through the city, you are the problem. you are the one making the city worse for everyone else. Bikes are the most efficient way of transport, cars and motorcycles don't stand a chance. Yet we have designed our cities for cars making it difficult and dangerous to ride bikes. I can see how it would be annoying to some other roadusers to see cyclists breaking road rules to make their trip faster. But people who find that irritating are usually unaware of their own privelege on the road. People in cars and on motorcycles also statistically break the law more often. it's just so normalized that people rarely notice. But when you are on a bike you do. poeple driving and parking in bike lanes. driving too far forward on red lights blocking the space for cyclists. passing cyclists too closely. Those are just some of the things cyclists regularily experience and rarely get punished.

As a motorist, a motorcyclist, and a cyclist for more years than you have been on this planet, (I'm aged 87) it's sad to see such poor riding skills once again. Having just stated earlier in the video that cyclists have not got the necessary power to get out of trouble quickly, you then accelerate quite hard at a cyclist that (if you had not been making a video, and trying to ride a bike) you should have seen way before you did, and taken the appropriate action, like taking it easy until your path was clear. I'm still driving, riding, (both cycles and motorbikes) having had no accidents, and a clean licence. Perhaps you should concentrate on just riding the bike, as you would appear to lack the necessary skills to multitask.

We all contribute to the conditions on the road. At 5:30 you're accelerating aggresively towards what is quite obviously a dangerous situation with plenty people on the road, not just the cyclist, only to slow down to a crawl and stop at another red light right after. Had you instead accelerated more moderately the road would have cleared up, you wouldn't have had to hit the brakes, no road rage, and you still would have made it in time to stop at the next red light. While you by all means could argue that a busy city center is no place for a peloton, it certainly isn't a place for riding aggressively on a motorbike either. Just because the green light says go doesn't mean you can switch off your brain and go full speed.
