    If you struggle with pushing past the limit of load on a loadcell set of pedals, then all you have to do is set your maximum load unput to be higher.... To the point where when you brake your hardest you barely reach 100%. That pretty much solves the issue right there.

  • @jinx20001

    no what he was saying is he does not like that the load cell does not have a hard stop when you reach 100 percent which is a very strange thing to say because if he has driven a car in real life that also does not come to a hard stop at maximum braking, it only gets to a point where you cant push the brake any further due to the force that would be required to compress the fluid. If a brake pedal in real life did hit a hard stop that hard stop would be the floor of the car and you would have a major major problem lol

    Yeah I don’t think I can ever take someone’s hardware review seriously when they say loadcells aren’t better than potentiometer. It is scientifically proven that humans are better at remembering and repeating force inputs rather than distance inputs. If you spends the time to actually learn how to use a loadcell pedal then you will never go back to a potentiometer pedal because the consistency is just way better outright

You can obviously adjust the intensity in ghub or on base, but to get the most out of it iracing has its own Trueforce file you can adjust each sensation, gear shifts, road texture, rumble strip, engine rpm, etc. Hopefully an easier way to adjust these settings will come about, but once you have these settings dialed, it feels weird/numb without it. Although I wasn´t using the pro wheel.. I´d assume that one is better quality. Of course its also true that a smaller company could focus more on build quality and technically make a more reliable product, although the financial factor has to affect research and development. Logitech's partnership with Mclaren Racing also has to confer some sort of advantage. The true force feature is also pretty unique and immersive. I´ve also found some online reports about people experiencing issues like broken pedal shifter with the Moza and looking at the warranty periods they tend to be shorter. I got 2 years warranty on my G923 which allows me to replace it now with a brand new one, Moza caps it´s warranty at wheels at 12 months so I would´ve been out of luck and forced to spend a lot of money again. you kind of lost me when talking about the load cell because a lot of what you were saying didn't make sense, you were kind of arguing against what makes a brake pedal feel realistic. Like for example you said you didn't really like that at 100 percent braking there was no hard stop indicating you are at 100 percent and you could still push a little further. I dont really understand this because in any real car its the same story, you are never braking to a hard stop because you are compressing fluid so should never reach the end of the pedals travel, only the end of your ability to compress the fluid further, if there was a hard stop in a car then you would have a major issue. the solution to that feeling of being able to push past 100 percent would be to tune the load cell within software, dont know about the logitech's but most load cell pedals have some kind of software where you can set 100 percent at your desired pressure and if you want a harder brake you would just replace the springs/dampers etc. But preferring a hard stop to the pedal to know in your mind when you are at 100 percent is a strange one.

  • @AlexGillon

    @AlexGillon

    Definitely agree the 'feel' of load cell is more realistic, but the difference with real life is that there's no software limit on how hard you can press the brakes I mainly play the F1 game, where you actually want to hit 100% brakes for like half of the braking zone. Something like iRacing is a very different story because you very rarely want to hit the brake limit anyway

    Alex I wasn't logged in to Google but comments like, "fair and honest review" really gets me going. This payment by supplying hardware is a growing and troublesome economy. It promotes lies and confusion in sheeple. It is NOT POSSIBLE to give a fair and honest opinion and companies like Logitech know this. They throw expensive kit at utube spruiks knowing these channels want respect in the industry (and it is an industry) and to grow their subscription base. So vloggers will absolutely say this tripe up front, but it does NOT make it true and never will. Fess up mate, you have been paid for comment by the barter system. I can only hope you don't ask people to head on over to some affiliate site to grab a discount so you can get some cash as well. No? Well, many others do. There's no limit to how low humans will sink for money. There's a little bit of Trump in too many utubers I reckon.

    @@MattEmery34 yes, sure you can. But between Fanatec and Logitech I have chosen the Logitech. Mostly because of where I live (Africa) and after sales assistance would be complicated if I had chosen differently. Would be a tougher decision if I lived elsewhere.

    For anyone wondering, my thrust master shifter does not work when plugged into the wheel unfortunately. I’d imagine other devices wouldn’t work either.
