I like this format, pedals showcasing in the beginning so we can see it all around in detail. And the best part: the Sim Cat transition. I like that part where you just showed the brake without talking. If there’s nothing to say, then say nothing. 99% of KZread reviews just keep talking and talking and talking even when there’s nothing to say, very annoying. The flex on the rig was very well captured and easy to see. Good job 👏

Thanks, very good presentation with out unnecessary detalisation. One question, with possibility buy now days Logitech adapter (47$) I can use my old G27 pedals (with changed potentiometers) with Logitech G pro DD, also the pedals are sometimes impossible to get (out of stock). So what your opinion on this combination? Are new pedals worth to wait or g27 pedals still working (I used to deal with)? I'd like to hear more about negative side of pedals, but any way you are very interesting and informative, have a nice new year!

I just got mine and discovered that if you place the brake pedal all the way to the left (in the same position as the clutch initially) then the cord is not long enough to connect. I wonder if I can take the elastomer brake cylinder and move it to the clutch and then plug the clutch cord into the brake port. I’m surprised that Logitech made the brake cord so short.

If I wobble them, there is a small bit of movement, but I don't notice that when I'm using them. I have the pedals positioned high and angled, maybe that changes the way my feet push into the pedals and makes a difference?

I just picked up a set of these for my 2nd rig and I noticed this right away with the throttle. It's not really an issue for me but do think they it would feel much nicer if the side-to-side play could be eliminated.

These are the same configuration as the T-LCMS! - But more expensive. Modding the brake pedal on the T-LCMS is also superior over these, as you can use any type of standard size elastomer or Bushing or foam/rubber washers to suit, but on these they are proprietary.

I've also owned/reviewed the T-LCM pedals, and no, they are not comparable, and certainly the T-LCM pedals not superior. But they are decent enough. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJ-WqZepqc3SqMo.html

These pedals kind of suprised me. Unlike the wheel which is pretty standout IMO, there's nothing remarkable about them (although the adjustablity and tuning pack are great). Performance is decent yet no better than anything else at this price point and there's a lot of plastic - although i don't mind that nearly as much as i thought i would. Like with the wheelbase, it's very high quality and I just kind of forget about it). So despite not being anything terribly special, for some inexplicible reason i've kind of fallen in love wth them. There was no learning cure, they just work and actually feel really nice to use. After a couple of mins I just forgot they were there and haven't noticed them since which is a good thing. I was using a set of HPP Hydraulics before swapping to the G Pro's for testing and to be honest I have no burning desire to switch back. It doesn't make much logical sense but my feet just kinda like them :)

  • @Jim_AC

@@daviddurrani This is my first pedals and I don't have a rig (FYI). For that purpose, the pedals are nice because they're ready to go. Plug the USB cable and launch your game. That's it. I didn't even installed the Logitech software, since DIView does the job with a 100KB executable. Springs and elastomers are super easy to change, no tools required. Plastic doesn't bother me and so far still in perfect condition. In general, I'm liking it, but I'm far from using all of its potential, since I'm using very little brake pressure. With the stock elastomers, the brake pedal is super smooth and feels like the pedal of a regular road car (soft and suitable for rig-less use). Had I opted for the Simjack, plug and play was absolutely out of question (no pedal plate also). The CSL Elite V2 looks very similar, but I never used those.

A lot of reviewers say they prefer the Fanatec V2 pedals. I prefer more pedal travel for braking like in a regular car. Do people prefer the Fanatec because it's stiffer with less travel and the Logitech is softer with more travel? If so, I'm sold on this G Pro pedal set.

Sorry, I'm new to sim-racing, and I splooged money on a Moza R9 base and a wheel, but the moza pedals (the proper ones) were way out of my budget (factoring in the shipping fees). So I got the Logitech G Pro pedals on Amazom, at almost half the cost of Moza's!...How do I use Logitech pedals with Moza base and wheel? Does that mean I need to have both softwares open? Or is there some kind of software that acts a middleware that tells Moza that the Logitech pedals are also Moza's?....Sorry, I'm quite green at this!
