locks we almost lost last week

In this video (and as a final for LockHole) we are making some keys for the locks that were almost lost last week but appear to be in good enough condition to resell in the shop as “refurbished” which we have a fair number of people who come in that purchase these.
As always, I am doing it so y’all are just along for the ride :) Enjoy

Can't believe that light commercial lock as all 9s, that's nuts. Maybe all 9s was the master key 😂. Also loved the persistent warnings!

Watching you try to lishi that kwikset is giving me so much anxiety for some reason... i dont know why, but its just making my skin crawl. Im sitting here screaming into the phone screen "just rake it and decode it afterwards!" I personally dont pick much with the lishis, just rake it and decode afterwards. Lol see you on Saturday morning! Have a great rest of your week!

It will be ok, I promise :) Listen, I couldn’t friggin take a 5 wafer on live the other day, and after I filmed this I had picked up a A SFIC that neither me or dangit wes have been able to turn much less pick to control and I picked it up and raked it for two minutes and the core suddenly flew out. So basically I’m all over the place with picking. Don’t @ me IT’S GOOD PRACTICE OK

@selock so rake it and then put in the lishi, the same way I do masterlocks, it's easier on the lishi

@@selock Kwickset SK lever door knob. The inside screws are tight, the set screws are tight, it locks and unlocks fine, but what causes the lever handles on both sides of the door to hang at the 5 o'clock position instead of the 3 o'clock position like they should? When it is locked, the lever handle will stay at the 3 o'clock position, but as soon as you unlock the door the lever handles fall downward. Is it worn out or is there something on the inside that I can tighten so the levers keep from falling down? I removed the lever handles and nothing there was stripped, so it appears to be on the inside. EDIT...it appears to be the spring assembly and of course I don't have the replacement parts. Seems like a good time to get a new door knob and go back to the round one.
