I'm also from India as a part of an Indian it is very shameful for our market society who charges more for the foreigner the mehandi tatoo maker who charges 500 indian rupee and the barber who charges 600 Indian rupees.....honestly the real price lies 50 Indian rupee for tatoo and 100 for the hair cutting ...be careful and once again it's very shameless 😢😢 If anyone who agree with me please like my comment

Ken I recommend visiting the state of Himachal Pradesh. You can go to Dharamshala, Manali, Vashist village, Parvati Valley for good trekking adn nice villages. The temperatures are much cooler up there now that it's summer. Ladakh and Leh in The Himalayas are also very different.

That heena guy has charged you a lot the real cost for that design is not more then 30 rupees and then also he took you to that saloon who was his friend that heena guy advised him to charge you extra. The hair cut in India at that type of saloon, it doesn't cost more then 100.

I remember I visited Xi’an China last year, there are very few street walking sellers, the price is very honest, around US $1 for a very pretty toy. I got tattooed at the shop he pointed out to you last time i was there and it’s one of the best tattoos Ive got! You could’ve bartered a better price for the henna and haircut but you seemed happy to pay what you did so all good! Im happy you went there and showed a different perception of paharganj. It’s not as bad as people say. It’s actually a great place to buy clothing,instruments,souvenirs etc at good prices.

Henna was costly and so was that haircut . T shirt was fair priced. But he did a good haircut, atleast ken looked nice in that. But it was fun to see him wading around streets. He should learn some bargaining skills though

for me I really enjoy those places sometimes, of course when the government have enough money they can build a new skyscrapers or other modern buildings, but u can find those kind of buildings in Hong Kong Tokyo Singapore L.A etc. I can imagine the ancient time through those buildings and streets, there r full of sense of life, this is real life of part of people who live in the earth. it's not everyone have a delicate life, but they still work hard for their family, even they don't have a decent clothes and work. that's why I love this kind of places sometimes.

He got way overcharged on the tattoo and the haircut, but he did say the locals warned him this area and he went there anyway, so it is really on him.

we stayed at the old part of Delhi during our stopover at New Delhi. Yes it was chaotic but we didn't once feel unsafe.

You showed the more modern and clean parts of Delhi in your earlier video, but this is the place I stayed on my visit almost 30 years ago and it hasn't really changed much. Are you planning to visit varanasi or the Taj mahal? I would like to see how they look now. I would like to visit the country again, but on my visit years ago I was scammed and felt unsafe in a few situations

Ha ha once upon a time i stayed opposite to Pahargunj 184M Aram Bagh and studied in DAV Sr. Sec School. It a flash back dor me...oldee goldee days... But the hair cut was really too much In Dubai i will not cost more than AED 20 at local shops.

Ken you should bargain more and more start from very small amount and then gradually increase by 50 . Or you could ask some local people walking around by to get help finding the true price .

You should surely visit the NORTH EAST states of India such as SIKKIM and ASSAM. They're very beautiful and you would surely have a very good experience.

U can find lots of British monument and the traditional bengali calture. Kolkata is called the city of joy and the city of palace. You can Always ask the staff of hotel, taxi drivers or shop keeper about the local prices for small things and then again verify with other people that will save you from getting fleeced on streets.

For all tourist I just tell you that Delhi is most overrated city in India. If you really want to experience well in India then sure to go Sikkim, Kerela, ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh and Goa😊
