I'm not sure if this is a local-access alert or an actual EBS activation which got cut off.

@@lizzybrown5984 Yeah, but this was a Tornado Warning slide (not an EBS activation). Seems some stations activated the EBS for weather warnings and others did not.

@@lizzybrown5984 Also, some stations started with the EBS and background and then switched to a “Warning” slide when the announcer read the warning.
I think this is a local EBS, not a Local Access Alert.

Idk, it was cut to the part where the end of the EBS occurred.

Maybe. But there's a very small chance it could be a Local Access Alert, although I heavily doubt it. I think KETV relayed it from KIH61, maybe via the EBS.

This is KETV’s Tornado Warning slide, which was also used in severe weather coverage cut-ins. I’ve seen various clips of this slide popping around. The EBS attention signal was not heard on KETV’s cut-ins at all. It only had 3 dual tone beeps. This was before the famous high-pitched “buzzer” sound the station picked up in coverages for many years.

@@eascec8374 I see.
This doesn't sound like a new perso
I never seen this gun before did tom get replaced Tom.
I think this dude doesn't know that this was before the EAS. No TTS during that time, my guy. If you're confused, look at who kept commenting on this video.

At 4:50P.M the sheriff, had report a tornado on the ground!
Is this the new guy is this the new guy
Is this guy replacing Tom?
It doesn't sound like tom it's just a different guy a What's his name who is he
I thought this was the KMTV Tornado Warning slide, not that of KETV. From what I’ve seen, KETV’s slides said “Weather Bulletin” or “Weather Report” and had the high-pitched continuous beeping alert tone.
