V05 conditioner worked just as well as that Shea Moisture Manuka conditioner for me. Discovered it by accident.

I have used the V05 conditioners as well and liked them too. Don’t sleep on that V05. 🤣

I am 5 months into my sisterlocks. I stopped the sisterlock shampoo because the next day my scalp would flake. I did 1 wash so far with the Suave and I loved it!! I bought a huge professional size if the shea moisture right before I locked and I don't think I ever tried it. I'm scared to try that for at least another year because I think it's going to be too moisturizing. I do love the smell so I'm keeping it in my stash lol. Great video! Your locs look great!!

I love the Vo5 n the Shea moisture. One question though. Does the pepper mint burn the private part? Seeing that the scalp tingles after washing your hair?

That’s an excellent question!! It actually doesn’t. I was nervous to try it for that same reason. LOL It feels the same as regular body was down there. I do dilute it to use on my body especially in the Wintertime. That may be why. Start with the small bottle to test it out!😉

I have used the honey Manuka when I was a loose natural. I think it’s very moisturizing. Maybe you should wait till next year for your locs🥰. I don’t like Dr Bronners. It left a film on my hair. The suave I did like. 🥰

I totally agree about the Manuka line. Especially the conditioner. One of my favs as a loose natural. I didn’t love the shampoo for my loose hair though. It’s so weird. LOL. I also have heard others say Dr. Bronners leaves a film or build up on the hair. I will be watching for that for sure. Suave is Bae!! Hahaha. Thanks for watching. 😊

Do you still spray your locs with salt water ? If so, do feel like it’s helped in your locking process ?

  • @ItsCinnaMe

I do still use it! I feel like I’m seeing less and less of my braid pattern but that may just the normal process. LOL. It definitely isn’t hurting anything as of yet so I am continuing to use it.

Dr Bronners definitely has to be super diluted. iF you choose to continue using it dont forget that its a soap not a detergent so that means it leaves behind a film(the clarifying shampoo should help remedy that) Dr. Bronners is made from saponified oils. Happy loc journey to you. I will definitely be watching☺
