Braid loosely and leave the ends loose.

I have soft hair, but it is curly. I can braid my hair, but if I keep the ends loose, they will start to unravel. I want to start micro braid locs. Once I install the micro braids in, can I interlock it immediately or do I have to wait for the new growth to appear? And then interlock the braids in order to achieve the best maintenance for the braidlocs?

Just installed my microbraidlocs soaking in all the wisdom. Thanks for sharing you and your head of locs are beautiful.

I started my box braids Locs Journey March 21, 2021 this year and I am so excited and happy and I can’t wait until they form into Locs and lock up and when they do lock up I am gonna be so happy oh and my parts or boxes and they really big to and my box braids Locs or big to and your journey looks amazing and I know you are happy for the processing and everything you had to go through.

This same advice was given to me at the beginning of my Sisterlocks journey. Great video. I am a #newsubscriber. I look forward to more of your content.

This is great advice. I have fine hair, so I plan to start with twists first. Glad to know they plump when they shrink (though I don't expect a massive size difference).

Yes. When I started with my two I could get two puffs. I started with really micro coils that I transitioned i to twist. Once they shrunk I blow-dry bc I wasn't confident enough. But I'm a few months in and I will only blow-dry to dry if I can't air dry!

Nice video! I'm planning to start my braid loc journey and I'm worried about the braid pattern not going out quickly. Do you think I should make the braids loose or tight. (FYI. Relaxed hair, Permed 4 months ago)

Hi. I have a question. I have fine 4c hair that's on shoulder length. I don't want to coil my hair or twist it to avoid unravelling and terribly shrinkage. Will it be guaranteed that doing micro braidlocs will thicken up eventually?

I would just add more new growth to them

How many do you have

Here's a trick if you have braidlocs when you go to retwist them retwist them with Jamaican wax and bantu knots and when you undo them the braid pattern is gone
