This is one of the best amature edits I've seen in ages.

Thanks! It's 5 years old now and I like to think I could put something better out there production wise, though not sure my riding would be any better!

Cool thanks - One gear, one life haha!!
Really good riding there!!!
Really nice riding mate. I was here today and did that NS for the first time, it's quite sketchy
Thank god you could ride as the combination of pony tail and super numb Bern helmet were suggesting a very different story! Fair play though great air time!
Great vid man enjoyed it

Thanks! I have no idea how that trail rides now as this video is 9 years old and I haven't been back since it was filmed, but I know there are other newer trails at Llandegla that look awesome so you're sure to have fun!
Those table tops looked incredible

Sam Webb The ones at the bottom of the trail are so much fun! Really fast and floaty.

Robert Loughlin Fast and floaty is exactly how I'd of described they look like :)
Awesome riding and nice videography. Were you using flat pedals?
Cheers :) I'm not the best on NS stuff as I haven't had much practice but I did have a few sketchy moments that didn't make the video on that NS section!
Nice riding

I'm new to btm, but my goal is to ride a mix of cross country and freeride, should i use click pedals or is that a bad idea?

Baws Dafuq Personal preference to be honest. I don't ride clips for anything. I've tried them in the past and I didn't get on with them. There's no denying they are more efficient for cross country cycling, road cycling and hill climbing stuff but it would be a very rare sight to see a freerider clipped in as they usually ride flat pedals. I am considering clips for my road bike but that's as far as I would ever go with clips. I have been riding for almost 20 years though so I'm a bit stuck in my ways now!

i totally agree, and I'm the same with mtb flats, i don't want clips at all off road! but i urge you to try some clips on your road bike, it does make a big difference (well, it did for me) -and when i broke a pedal once and had to go back to using flats on my road bike for a week or two, i really noticed how i couldn't keep up with any of my friends uphill especially!
Best thing at llandegla
Nice one thanks. Yeah I always ride flats, I rode clips once and I hated it!

I had an Identiti Dr Jekyll (not sure on year, maybe around '09?) with RST forks in this video but I now have a 2014 Bergamont Kiez Pro. The Identiti was quite long but my new Bergamont is really short so it feels more chuckable and fun to ride.
Nice.
Alright Dude :~}
That was awesome! I want my forks back so badly! =(

Yeah it was but it's 10 years old now so was a bit longer and not as nimble as more modern dirt jump bikes. Still fun though!

Pretty much any of the big brands entry level dirt jump bikes will be fine for a beginner as the frames will be the same as the higher end models and you can upgrade the components as you go. You can also go pre-owned as there's usually some good deals on Pinkbike buy/sell and local free ads/ebay. Just try and avoid supermarket bikes and you should be fine!
A channel I watch posted a video of this place you may know it essential mountain tracks?? fantastic videos on there I also enjoyed this video I will sub you also

Probably not until the summer with a bike :( My DH bike is pretty much out of commission as it has almost as much travel side to side as it does up and down thanks to totally worn out everything and I think I may end up raiding it for parts for a new project bike I just got. My jump bike is running sweet though (I should probably make a new video with it as it doesn't feature on my channel yet!) so if you wanted to ride somewhere that would be ok for a single speed, one brake, 13" framed dirt jump bike then I'm game!
