    Glad you are posting again Sam, I have been missing your updates. You have done so much work to that car and done it the right way.

    The extra stuff in the gun is easily reclaimed by using kitchen tools to scrape it back into the container. I have also seen guys add a hose to the gun to allow you to siphon directly out of the plastic bucket too. One thing that I have also done with lizard skin is apply it with a brush to bridge small holes then spray the stuff over the top to ensure the texture is consistent. Basically like a seam sealer if you will.

    Lizard skin doesn’t recommend spraying over epoxy primers. I’m interested to hear if you had any adhesion issues.

    I have a couple issues with that type of coating , the main one being the weight , how much do those 2 pails weigh and how much does it weigh after it dries ? good to see you again sam ! 👍👍👍

    Weight shouldn't matter much if your building a car to enjoy driving.

    I wonder how big difference lizard is from raptor

  • @ClassicCarOverhaul

    @ClassicCarOverhaul

    I believe the raptor liner is more durable, the lizard skin is water based so clean up is easy and the ceramic insulation is supposed to reduce heat which raptor line does not.

    Can you still put dynamat down over the lizard skin?
