I'm glad that worked out for you. I'm different though because I like defined lines: either I am single and living alone or I am married and living with my husband. Navigating the grey areas in between would be a major headache for me.

me and my bf live together and are waiting for marriage! i can’t stand when other christian’s say “there’s no way you can live together and not do it” when they haven’t been in that situation. when you know you want to wait for marriage you got that mindset you begin to have better self control and discipline. it’s not impossible to live together and wait for marriage and if you’re convicted or you have no self control then don’t do it, but don’t put your personal convictions on others. thank you guys for sharing how y’all lived together before marriage regardless of all the hate comments y’all got on the other videos about this.

This was me and my Dumplin' strongly similar dynamic. At the beginning, we courted and dates and visited each other often before moving in together. Took turns paying for dates and spoiling, each other. I brought in food and worked a job while going to school. And my partner would help me with bills of I ever needed and if I couldn't manage it myself. And I would help her with whatever she needed, of I had it to give. And when I did, I would just give it to her. Although I did struggle with mental health issues, she inspired me to push. If we got into certain tough conversations, my parents would suggest we took a tiny bit of space to cool off, and revisit those conversations with fresh eyes so she didn't feel trapped or crowded and I could gather my thoughts to say what I need to correctly. We had a plan and we're building towards something monumental. I had alot of hopes, but I made her uncomfortable and she stopped trusting me. We were definitely sexing. Maybe, that's what the problem was for us. I was girlfriend giving wifey business. I take accountability for that mistake. My mom always used to always say, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. There were no boundaries. She was raised different, and her mama would give me some wise advice I would apply hoping it would work. And I realized my parents, had taught me different things that probably didn't work for her. I think trying to be considerate of her, made me clingy and pushy. I do feel bad, she needed to be able to herself. I take my ownership for where I messed up. Congratulations to you both for your union so much 🎉🥳👏 Maybe we will be blessed to try again together, and do it right one day in the future. I don't even want a wedding, just a small private celebration amongst ourselves. I still want her, now that we have had the space. Thank you for these tips.

You are deceived. Our emotions, flesh, own reasoning, justification and all can blind us. You are not setting an example to the world and other believers. If it works for some and not for others is not way to base it on. It is a black and white issue not grey. It is not a sin to live and not fornicate with someone but is is wise ? No. Now way I would ever live with a man before marriage even if I could control it nor would I teach anyone to do it. There is needs to be boundaries and standards in courting and the guy gets not even your living presence unless he puts on a ring and walks down the isle. Being truly Holy and sanctified to God, seeking Him and living for Him.

Thank you for this. Very helpful; very informative. We cannot limit the strategy of God. His ways are far above what we could imagine. Your work is appreciated.

Omg bree I can relate I have the same problem I have issues managing money and I always go for the most expensive places lol bc of my taste but here in Houston men seem like it's a bad thing I would want a man to teach me how to budget I believe that's important. I had it once but felt it was a control thing I'm glad I grew up

We live in a world of wickedness. I’m still learning the word but I know as long as you have his good intentions instilled into the foundation of the relationship and abide in the rules or lifestyle of the Bible. Then everything will work perfectly no matter what others say. I’m grateful for the Lord because he allowed me and my girlfriend (proposing in Dec.) to repent from our sexual immorality. Now we are building our relationship by actually putting God first and not just saying it. We plan to get married in 2 years and I plan for us to eventually live together. I pray God blessed you both because your channel has helped change my mindset for the Lord’s grace and favor. So again thank you ❤

at 11:00 when you guys start talking about “appearance” , it sound like those people were projecting their weaknesses. Just like Bre said, she felt stronger when you guys were living together vs apart. Everybody different & when you set intentions & take them serious, you move different. Edit: Dre saud it at 17:00 😂👏🏾

I look at marriage as a promotion. you get promoted because you've been doing the things that you need to do to be in the next role. Marriage shouldn't come with glaring surprises about your partner you can't live with
