I lived about a mile from HARVARD SQ. In the 1950's and 60's and my rent for a 6-room apartment was $65 a month. I also shopped and ate in CENTRAL SQ. and INMAN SQ. , PORTER SQ. and DAVIS SQ. in SOMERVILLE...They all had movie theatres except PORTER SQ. Now rents are in the $2,000 to $3,000 dollar range each month, making it almost impossible to live a decent life.
