It died when the classic no. 10 faded away, football is just pass the ball back, almost feels like a chess game. All of it's credit goes to pep. Maybe in the coming years, few talents from outside the europe can bring something to the game

I was 15 y/o at that time and it was around 3AM at my place, eventhough i have school the next day, it was all worth it!

Finished 5th in the league that season and still won the CL against a team with the likes of Kaka and Cafu in there. Happy times ❤️👍 Well deserved!

After 18 years i still remember how my heart stopped when Gudjohnsen got that ball in 94 minute of the semifinal 2nd leg. And i remember how loud was Anfield that night. Most electric atmosphere i remember in Europe

3 second half goals v Olympiacis to win,beating the Juve allstars ,beating the Chelsea team all over 2 legs ...then the Ac Milan globetrotters in the final again needing 3 to get to pen...was there to see them all apart from the final and was glad to witness it all ....great times under Rafa the gaffa

Everton fans will never forget this season because they finished 4th ahead of us at 5th but we won the champions league! Beautiful time in the world of football. That game against Chelsea was a battle

Am a Manchester united fan but this road to Istanbul really was one of the fantastic for Liverpool, I remember a prematch interview of Banitez against Chelsea second leg at anfield when he said "They have the best players in the world, they also have the best coach in the world but we have the fans and this balances everything" This statement would later be confirmed in the final match against Milan
