Some of those audience members had to have been disappointed with Regis being out sick that morning. At the peak of the show’s popularity, _Live with Regis and Kathie Lee_ had a waiting list of more than one year for would-be audience members to get tickets for the show.

So much tension between Kathie and Gelman-they never seemed to be friends. Both strong personalities.

Suzen said Frank started contacting her as early as 1993. So the cheating and unhappiness in the marriage pretty early on.

@@edp3202 around the same time Gifford cheated he and Katie Lee were featured in an infomercial with some psychologist discussing how to have a successful and loving marriage. After news of the affair broke the infomercial disappeared from the airwaves
