I'm not quite sure the Solus will compare very favourably to the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, or even the GMA T50S Lauda both opf which have spare seats. McLaren gets cars to be light vs compatitors (for street cars) but the lap times are then a bit disappointing for that lack of weight. I'm curious where/why they drop the ball.

I'm curious whether race engines with so much trouble to run offer any advantage over a proper V12 Cosworth such as in GMT T50S or Aston martin Valkyrie AMR Pro which seem easy to run as a street engine.

I would be surprised if a true driver would choose an AMG 1 over a Valkyrie. The Valkyrie is such a more attractive proposition for so many reasons. Who wants a 1.6 engine. If your wanting a car to keep as a future classic it’s not going to be an AMG 1. It’s like they’re trying to celebrate the worst of what Formula One has become, and that’s not difficult.

Why not add mountain like xtra bars at the end of the steering wheel? You'd have each one bent outside, right outwards on the rhdside, and lhdside out to the left. So you'd have the extra bits of metal to grip or twist in wards as well, but only the width of a hand. Or in carbon?

The F5.... You say that because you think its American. And some kind of world beating hypercar. But its not road legal. It has no crash testing, no emissions, no legal VIN / Chassis number. It has to run on kit-car number plates. And it rolls out of England 100% ready built. Corvette engine and all. Its about as American as socialised healthcare.

@@brinkee7674 Actually I’d go for the CC850 over all of them. But for Koenigsegg I like CC850, Germera, then Jesko. The Jesko is amazing but I can’t imagine driving it as often.

Might as well call the McLaren the B-870 for all the " Bespoke" parts lol

Didn't watch the video? There are two controls above the rear view screen, one is a kill switch, the other is fire extinguisher.

As a PlayStation person who loves cars I have to have Grand Turismo and it’s a very good game but I really wish they had a lot less touring cars and wayyyy more historical cars. I’m not even asking for it to be an open world game or anything but I was really let down by the selection of cars so far.

JUDD V10 which means it's a true race engine.

The age of LMP cars that for the most part are undriveable because its TOO LOW for any roads beside Switzerland and Japan.

The only one that seems to be built for real petrolheads is the Venom F5. Not to show of in Monaco by people who don't know how to drive their car hard. Because they never tried. I know where my Euromillions who go ;)

The Hennessey is by far the best looking car in this group.

I was most excited for Henessy Venom F5 of the super cars that came out this year

The Hennessey is more of a kit car than Supercar...it has no airbags and can only be registered as "Show and Display in the US. It's infotainment display is an off the shelf display Alpine....all for $1,600,000 mill!! LOL

@Amarjit Singh Dhesi The point that is being made is that if Hennessey can't even engineer an airbag for the safety of its customers these cars are a very basic parts bin grab. The Speedtail and Koenigsegg are Imported to the US!! Built to THEIR countries regulations!! This subpar builder Hennessey took the easy way out by not even engineering a car to his OWN countries regulations!!! All for $1.6 million. Hence no where near any of the mentioned class of hyper cars.

ALL these auto channels, that complain about the back of the car being all they can see through the external mirrors, are idiotic. properly adjusted mirrors do not see the car at all! The internal mirror is for seeing what is directly behind. External mirrors are for seeing what is coming up on either side. Proper mirror setup means that you see another coming upon you and as the car exits your mirror, it enters your peripheral vision.

Unless the cockpit is much narrower than the rear of the car, then the angle of the mirrors would have to show the sides of the road :)

The Nevera makes all other cars pointless. Nothing is faster, nothing can compete on any surface type. It's the end all be all period. Makes the other cars in this vid seem quaint. It can drive any track by itself better than any driver ever born. It's the Alpha and Omega. If God were a car, this would be it.
