a) Embraceable You (0:00)
written by George and Ira Gershwin
b) Heartbreaker (3:08)
written by Robert Evans
preformed by The Heartbreakers with Frank Motley & His Crew
recorded live at The Howard Theater, Washington, DC, Friday, 19 October 1951
released in 1973 as Roadhouse RH-1010 (45 RPM single) and on The Heartbreakers compilation LP, "Big News" (Roadhouse RHLP-5002)
Many previously unreleased recordings from the vaults of Lillian Claiborne's DC Records found their way to market via Les Moskowitz's Roadhouse label, circa 1973-74. The origins of these two recordings are unknown. I don't know enough to say if they were remote broadcasts from The Howard Theater (therefore, recorded off the air) or if Claiborne had recording equipment at the theater to capture this performance. Again, that is what the comment section is for.
