The lessons you learn from skateboarding really are analagous to those we learn in life. Realising that often, falling is nowhere near as bad as you think it might be, is one of those lessons. It's no different to realising that if you approach a girl and bomb out, even if you embarrass yourself a bit, it really doesn't matter at all. It's not really that bad. You just learn and try again (maybe with a different girl lol or the same one a few weeks later). The best thing you can do is overcome that fear that is so incredibly disproportionate to how badly things can go wrong. Once you've done that, it's much easier to attempt whatever it is you're attempting, with full commitment, and strangely enough, it's when you fully commit with little fear, that's when you're most likely to nail it!! (not the girl, the challenge, get your mind out of the gutter lol)

My regular manuals are definitely better. But I've also just done them a lot more. I'd say 80% vs only 20% nose manual.

Dude, I've been trying to nose manual for the last like 5 times I've gone skating. (Shit weather here, can't skate much during the winter) and I think this video gave me some good tips. Instead of just trying to learn on flat, maybe I should learn an ollie into it on a small pad.
"Don't ollie to the sky, just ollie to the clouds." - Aaron Kyro, 2015
Live support is awesome!! I actually got hyped when they guy landed the trick! GOD BLESS SKATEBOARDING
he gets so close I almost wanna cry.
Gabe is progressing a lot just like Lance, this is real commitment
What Aaron said about falling was just to accurate. I've wanting to ollie into a nose manual for so long gonna try tomorrow.. anyways awesome job Gabe !

Just by watchin the kid achieved it makes me feel like i know nose manual already too.
2:05 when you 99.9 percent think your right and the teacher just hits you with a hard no and your like😪.😂😂😂
Gabe is getting really good...
can you make a videos explaining how to do vert tricks? like bowl tricks too? im more of a vert skater than a street skater so id love to see them too.
Awesome Gabe, keep skating!
I agree that learning stationary manuals 1st really help to doing them while moving.
It really helped me I landed it in a our in a kind of manaulpad like you en Gabe are skating.
nice gabe! are u able to do them more often now since i am replying to this much later? i just started to skateboard again even though i am way older than you. i just do it for fun!
There needs to be "just commit bro" shirts

Yea
The position on the nose for a nose manual to me does matter quite a bit. When my foot is angled or a bit to far off centre of the nose, then I will actually start to turn whilst doing the nose manual resulting in kind of poor balance overall. I'd imagine it could make me trip when jumping up a curb, but haven't gotten to that stage yet.
Aaron you should learn how to dolphin flip! :)

Brian Rexroad I always skip to the end cause I know he will eventually land it.
Are you going to freemont on Monday cause I am and you're awesome and u was hoping to meet you because you're my favorite skater
Something that help me learn nose manuals was to be very relaxed
i usually do flatgrounds and stairs, i hate curbs (cause i'm shit at it) and it inspired me to try some manuals :)
Thanks arron that helps me out a lot , I'm so scared to land on the nose
Awesome bro!! Keep it up you're awesome
Hey, is there any way to look cool on a skateboard? :D could you make a tutorial and talk about it?
do a frontside heelflip tutorial cause that would be great
Does it count if you hit your tail on the end of the ledge? I did my very first one today.
when i just learned to skateboard without even knowing how to ollie good i was gonna do a frontside 180 and i stepped too far up and landed on the nose and my board went backwards and i went forwards and all i remember is everything flashing white lol
Every comment here is from 5 years ago... to those watching in 2020, hello👋🏼

when there doing the trick they look like red hulk
You guys should do a video explaining how all you guy all came to know each other.
I can already nose manual on most types of ledges & manny pads, but out here in Sacramento I can't find any manny pads as mellow as that one. Anybody from Sac that knows of any mellow manny pads in the south or downtown area?

You should do the live skate supports more often
I would like to see a kick flip nose manual video!
I love the noises aaron makes when hes doing a trick ha
Gabes board is so cool!!!!!!
Landed primo down a 4 stair kickflippin it can't skate for a while... :,(
gabes deck is awesome
my hero
i like when he pushes gabe i cant stop watvhing it
Another live skate support but on nose grinds or bs flips??
Gabe is so sick!
Completely agree that nose manuals rely on total commitment. Sorta like a blunt to fakie on a ramp...but not NEARLY as scary.
This video actually got me to landing it the day I watched it.
i need a spot like that
Hey Aaron I have a question are revive decks pretty strong cause every board I buy always chips so easy and either snaps I learned not to buy from tactics thou cause their wood is cheap and their plys are thin lol hmu id appreciate it I'm looking to further my skateboarding skills go to Cali and maybe go pro if I'm good enough I have the raw talent I have ollies down fs 180s down nollies down kickflips heelflips varial flips and I'm working on fs flips and hardflips now I need to get 360 flips backside 180s down and I'd like to learn nollie kickflip and nollie heelflip maybe even switch it up and do nollie hardflip and would you mind doing a live skate support for inward heels no offense to Garrett Ginner but he doesn't explain things as good as you
@brailleskateboarding
7 жыл бұрын
Yes Revive are good. I am terrible at inward heels I think its one of my worst tricks but I can give it a shot for you. Sub to the Braille Army channel also because there will be lots of learning type videos over there as well.
@skatechaos1985
7 жыл бұрын
Thanks man I appreciate it hell the roads are kinda different in West Virginia I have to skate like 51 mm to roll around the cobble stone 💎 but yeah I'd greatly appreciate that like inward heels are giving me trouble in the since of getting my back foot on I'll send you a video of my inward heelflip attempts too and let you see where I'm at I love your channel and tbh I hope to meet you one day and will play a game of skate also I see you guys skate all the time I watch your channel everyday and your guys boards seem strong you can hear how they snap in the ground the stiffness if the wood thanks again cause I skate hard and need a reliable board
Does Aaron live in San Francisco ?
7:34 why did Aaron push Gabe when he was trying to avoid him from falling
Aaron what do you do when I Ollie up but as soon as I land I can’t keep my wheels up
@RipTrippy
4 жыл бұрын
Lara Bennett you should try doing a stationary Ollie and try to push your nose down and land with your nose and wheels(like dropping in switch). I was doing this today and it helped to just get the feeling of getting into a nose manual without the fear!
where is that garage
4:50 "Urrghhhhh" almost die laughing
I cant roll of the curb, I can nose manny it but the board flips when I try get off.

Can anyone here help me understand how to pop a nollie flip down things, I can switch flip things but I can't nollie flip things. Any advice would be helpful
@WilpoShredders2001
9 жыл бұрын
I think nollie heels are easier than nollie kickflips but that's opinion. Anyways, when you nollie flip down something keep in mind that you want your weight centered over the board and lean back a little to keep the board under you. Flick out and a little down. Hope it helps :)

aron sems pissed in this vid or at least board?

Damn Braille calm down 😂😂
nice car on the back :D
Gabe: Back foot right over your bolts will help with the balance a ton!
How did he nit already have nose manny
Lance kickflip´s gap or over Gabe
7:31 hahaha cracks me up
Nice👍
good jub gabe
Aaron's face at 1:41 lmao
I just cant land a nose manual, this is just so dumb. I can do every manual on flat (regular, nose, one foot, hang ten, etc) but the only one I succed is a regular manual on a box
Hahaha i like how Aaron said ur not even trying
7:31 though hahahahahahaha.
Is it just me or is it actually falling back is why I'm scared of doing nose mannys instead of falling forward?
@brailleskateboarding
9 жыл бұрын
Well falling back usually just means you put all 4 wheels down is all
@Mitcellie
