The final Rh3 move really demonstrates what GM Igor Smirnov talked about how to think like a GM. He mentioned that usually they will think about forcing moves (check, capture or threats) first, these moves force their opponents to react to what they do and make calculation much easier

1:18:31 thank you to the person who asked this question and thank you Nelson for answering it! Because I was trying to learn way to much about opening moves, and now that I think about it when I usually lose is a blunder or something in the mid game.

Nelson at 4:09 why not Na4 and castles queenside?

NM Nelson plays blitz game and provides meaningful commentary. Me: 10 min game feels like hair is on fire.

Hey I have a question about moving pawns after the opening. Like when do I push them. If I want to take space or what?

1st game, where you check ur miss, I think is because if Kxc2 with check and forking rook, then u take with bishop and black Qxb2 with triple fork. U can save rook and bishop is defended but knight to c3 is hanged. So u are down 2 pawns on Queen side.

I find jiggling the pieces is annoying and distracting. It seems that more and more chess streamers are doing it.
