    @@tonymaurice4157 hi there, sometimes, for example for people with Crohn’s, Dr. Goldner recommends to lower the amount of smoothies, flax (maybe better chia!) and raw salads and work your way up. If you are very thin maybe you want to eat some WFPB with the raw at the beginning. All the best for you 😊

    I saw my brother at Easter. We went out to a restaurant and the while family ate a SAD meal. I had a dressing-free green salad and plain baked potato with no toppings. My brother said - `why don`t you stop torturist yourself? Relax and order some good food.` I answered that I was eating what I actually wanted - no torture 🤣

    I don't defend how I eat, rather I invite whomever has the issue with my choice to partake in what I'm eating. It's that "sharing" that usually ends their criticism😉

    In reference to the iron @ 9:24 a low hemoglobin doesn't necessarily mean iron deficiency! I've had low hemoglobin my whole life and I have iron overload Hemochromatosis. We need to check FE, %saturation and Ferritin levels to rule that out before taking iron like the doctors gave me and harmed my liver and pancreas😢.

    With regards to a continuous glucose monitor, they can be extremely helpful in figuring out what is causing borderline fasting blood sugar. They were ready to call me a diabetic with a fasting blood sugar of 6.5 even though my. Hga1c was only 4.5. The continuous glucose monitor helped me realize it was my insomnia that was causing elevated morning blood sugars. I had a bad night sleep my blood sugar was elevated, very helpful information.

    Yes. My mom. She has announced at two large family get togethers😊 that I am a “health nut”. I ignored it. So what? We are visiting for May holiday. She talked alcohol. I told her make it for my hubby and her. Previously she got MAD when I wouldn’t eat her box made brownies. Oh well. I get stronger every time.

    Work out, not with RA and no meds, I’m hoping it will come, 16 months cannot do any kind f exercise, swam a bit now cannot, it’s my goal to get in the water again.

    Right there with you. RA for 5yrs now, hate meds, have nodules on hands, feet, ugh. RA Dr never listens, just wants me to take more meds, been doing an infusion every 8 weeks, it helps but I want off everything. I try to swim but have to becareful my fingers get cold and go white and have turned blue, so I swim at night when water is warmer. We can do this !!

    My understanding is humans need sodium, not salt. There is a difference. I know fruits and vegetables naturally contain sodium. Why would we need to supplement with salt, if we are getting our sodium through hyper nourishing by eating fruits and vegetables?

    Your opinion on black seed oil or any information you may have on black seed oil. Information is much appreciated. And cold press juice's added to diet after HN and RR on going for life style. I'm just starting salads and smoothie blends plenty of water sleep exercise practice intermittent fasting everyday 18/6 some super green powder blends. Plants life style blended whole juice and smoothie blends and soups from Vita Mix blinder recipe book on going. Born with one kidney function 3A . I want to get better with food as meditation and medicine 💊💉. I like fasting detoxing everyday as a spiritual practice life style as well just trying to incorporate and add your program together. Please respond and much appreciated all that you do. Been having a Vita Mix blinder for years haven't been using it in the right way blended food off and on for years. BS is good 👍 working on HBP on 2 HBP meds

    I've heard of people being tired on a vegetarian diet because they have genetic polymorphisms that make it hard for them to extract a certain nutrient from plant-based sources. I had been vegetarian for 20 years when I first met someone with such a trait in the late 1990s. I don't know if supplements can be used to work around such traits. Gojiman on youtube is the only person I know that made a video on this topic. This year is my 47th year of being vegetarian.

    If anyone should be forced to defend their food choices it is people who eat meat. We live in such time and age where videos of what's going on in slaughter houses are easy to find. Everyone is aware to some extent where their nicely packed animal producs come from so it is meat eaters who should be ashamed at the table and explain themselves and not plant based enthusiasts.
