At the 500 level, I threw my knight right into the middle of black’s camp once because I saw a chance to check the king and trade some material. It ended up being an even trade, but the game review gave me a brilliant for it because, had I followed it up correctly, I would have come out up one pawn. To this day, I’m still confused about why it said brilliant.

You can make custom C Clamps out of pvc tube (with a heat gun). the PVC has pretty good strength, especially if you get the size just-right (so get some anvil or similar to make corners.). You just cut off a cylinder, cut a strip in that (making a C that's almost an O), and then shape with the heat gun.

I really don't like how much people make fun of the alleged cheater here. To me that just seems very much like bullying. It isn't at all clear to me that the person cheated and the explanation letter sounded very reasonable to me. Just think how you would feel if this was you and you did in fact play one of your best games. And while I very much enjoy this series Nelson, I don't think you should encourage your viewers to make jokes on this topic, as it just encourages the kind of harassment you spoke out against in your last video.

In that second game, when you played Ne5 threatening checkmate and your opponent captured your queen, you took NINE seconds before playing the checkmate. Why take so long to make an obvious move that you were intending to play? What if your opponent reported you for being "suspicious" for taking so long? Do you see how easy it is to fall into that line of thinking? The reality is, as you just demonstrated, sometimes you like to take a few seconds before making your move. It doesn't make someone a cheater. (Yes, I'm still annoyed at the way things transpired the other day. You had no need to call someone out as a cheater and defame their character when you didn't know FOR SURE.)
